My husband and I spent one night here while exploring Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Medora is a quiet little place this time of year. So glad we opted to stay in Medora rather than Dickinson. The hotel staff was friendly, bed was comfortable and the breakfast spread was appreciated since we were heading into the park nice and early.

Guests in next room ran tv All night long, keeping us awake. Called front desk about 2:30 am & was told, "sorry, we will not disturb neighbors by knocking on their door to ask them to turn down tv." But it was OK for us to be disturbed for the entire night? Talked to the owner the next morning, he... More

The rooms were very clean. and beds comfortable. The breakfast was fine...not overly impressive. It looks like the very best hotel for the price in Medora..a very cute little town. The staff at the desk was not overly friendly...not rude just kind of there.

After arriving late one evening we were given the keys and directions to our rooms, as two of us rolled the carts with luggage to our rooms I knew that one of my friends would not be able to make the trek to the room. There was only one elevator and our room was probably as far away from it... More

The AmericInn was beautiful and extremely clean. No complaints with the hotel. It was in an excellent location to be able to walk to the downtown area; however, it was overpriced. There are so few hotels in the town they can charge as much as they want and sell out. I did appreciate the fact that they even had a... More

We stayed 2 nights during Labor Day weekend. The front desk staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. Our room location faced the back so we had a quiet night. The hotel is close to the railroad tracks but the town is situated along those same tracks, so no matter where you stay, you'll have that noise. If... More

I read a review that this hotel was right next to the train tracks so it might be noisy, but it was anything but. After a snafu with a reservation, we got our room and it was clean and very quiet. Not once did we hear a noise from the hallway or any doors opening and closing. Mary at the... More

This was as close as I could get short notice to Dickinson for a conference so I had to take what I could get. But I was pleasantly surprised. For the same amount I was planning to pay for a standard double in Dickinson, I got a King Suite here in Medora. The last day I took off a little... More

Reception staff cool, other staff very helpful. We were assigned a room with a storage closet and next to the pool w/ high traffic. Got an upgrade after complaining. That room was excellent; breakfast very good. If i ever go to Medora I'd go to the Rough Riders Hotel.

We checked in late on a Thursday night in September and were upgraded to a King Suite room. Wow, this room had everything! Comfortable bed with plush bedding, jacuzzi tub in the room, fireplace in the room, flat screen TV with a good selection of channels. It also had a large vanity area to get ready in as well as...
