We drove out to Cali from TX via Flagstaff. This vacation we stayed at 7 hotels back and forth. This was the worst of all the hotels but I had warned my husband in advance about the reviews on Tripadvisor. I suspect that the majority of hotels in Flagstaff and Grand Canyon are old and show lots of wear and... more

I booked this place through a Hotel Website, which rated it an overall 3. Personally, I would rate the hotel a 2. Sure the breakfast is hot, although no attendants were to be seen during the breakfast and the coffee tasted burnt. More of my complaints are directed toward the cleanliness of the room. Upon entering my room, everything appeared... more

The bed was terrible. A real hammock. The man at the desk said all the beds were the same and the owners refused to replace them. Stay somewhere else. more

This Hotel experience was one of the worst of my business career. It was filthy, worn out and out right disgusting. There are several other wonderful hotels within walking distance. For heavens sake, stay somewhere else. This hotel should be condemed and torn down more

If it hadn't been so late in the evening when we arrived, I would have gone elsewhere. I booked this hotel in advance for a one night stay when traveling back to our resort in Scottsdale from a day at the Grand Canyon. While the staff were friendly and the breakfast the next morning fine, the building and our room... more

The breakfast at this hotel is wonderful! Hot eggs, waffles and sausage, cold cereal, hot cereal, fruit, pastries, yogurt, orange juice, apple juice, milk, oatmeal and muffins (english and bakery styles)! The pool is indoor and not very well ventilated so the smell of chlorine is very strong, but our kids loved swimming in it and seeing who could create... more

I chose this hotel because the past reviews were good. Are these people insane? Are they used to staying at 1-star motels and so they think this AmeriSuites is the best? Everything is so outdated. The fan/AC is so loud that you can't hear the TV unless the volume is way up. No captions available. The fridge and the microwave... more

I would classify this place as a dump. According to staff, building is being torn down and rebuilt from the ground up. In the meantime, it should at least be maintained. Our room had torn carpet, ripped wallpaper, moldy grout, stained tub, peeling paint and a smell of mold. One of the worst rooms I have ever been in. Great... more

The positives are the location and the breakfast buffet, which included waffles, eggs, sausages and your standard cereals and yogarts. The negatives are the very old and dirty carpet, bedspreads, and noise level in the rooms. We notified maintenance regarding a swimming pool ladder step in the 6ft area that was broken and hanging for someone to trip going up... more
