I reserved a room here because I like the sound of having a bedroom separate from kids. ;-) The reviews I read were mixed but I figured it would be fine for one night. Upon seeing the place first hand we immediately decided otherwise... ...I believe something like, "I'll sleep under the viaduct first" was the first thing to come... more

I had realistic expectations about this hotel. It is afterall a Travel Inn. That said, we used budget hotels throughout our stay, and this was the worst by a long way. The rooms had a very funny smell about them, and whilst they were not particularly dirty, they did not seem clean either. Breakfast time was a free-for-all scramble of... more

We have more than the average number of children and stayed in one room with 3 queen beds. It was great not to have to get 2 rooms and saved us a considerable amount of money. The breakfast was fine, nothing fancy and the room was clean and in good shape. more

Decided to stay here based on price and location. This hotel is equal to a Super 8. However, Scott, the owner/manager is unprofessional and rude. I was told, being an LGBT traveler, that he was going to be keeping an "eye on me" as he followed me to my room from the parking lot--very creepy. This is not the place... more

We stayed in te Travel Inn in Flagstaff for 2 nights and it was really awfull. The lady at the front desk (owner?) was really unfriendly (if not hostile), the rooms were grubby and the noise was terrible. In our case it was not the noise of the train or the road but a family gathering (during 2 nights) till... more

We were driving i-10 from L.A. to east and we stopped at Mcdonalds in Blythe, because my girlfriend wanted to have some ice cream and nuggets. While waiting her to be finished, I found this coupon booklet for hotels and motels in Arizona. We picked up Travel Inn because of the low price, free parking and continental breakfast. For under... more

This hotel cost a bit more than other nearby hotels and had been recently remodeled. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. However, they are paying for the renovation by skimping on standard hotel fare. For example, the towels were no better than worn out wash cloths, the heater had no thermostat and the walls had no insulation... more

We used to stay at the econo lodge right near the travel inn and the train noise was loud and the rooms were so small but for the price we would settle. We decided to try the travel lodge this time around and was pleasantly surprised how clean, big and quiet our room was. Hardly hear the train ever. Its... more

I stayed one night at the Travel Inn in Flagstaff for a business trip. When I arrived the hotel worker was too busy on the phone to check me in, and I had to wait almost 10 minutes until I got her attention. She was not very pleasant and seemed pretty cold. When I got in to my room it... more

I found this motel to be well kept up and conveniently located. (previously mentioned remodeling is completed). It is possible to walk the 5-6 blocks to the historic downtown, and it is off the main thoroughfare, so that traffic noise is minimized. The train noise wasn't loud here either (it is hard to avoid, the train runs through the middle... more
