Now that we've stayed here, I'm not staying anyplace in the Flagstaff area. We have friends in the Mountainaire vicinity just up the hill so it's very convenient for us. It's only a 10-minute drive south of Flagstaff to get out of the city and relax on a deck adjacent to the forest. A small but class act. Small in... More

During our travels we prefer to stay in quaint family owned B&B's rather than the corporate hotel chains which look and feel the same everywhere. We are glad that we opted for Abineau Lodge in Flagstaff. It's a cozy place in the woods but not too far from Flagstaff town center (6 miles). Rooms are small but comfortable. Breakfast was... More

We have known Wendy the owner for a while now and after walking the property, decided that it would be a great location for our wedding. We had our ceremony up on the hill behind the property and the reception down closer to the property. It was fantastic. We loved everything about the day. Wendy worked hard on the food... More

Wendy, the owner was very hospitable, and bends over backwards to make sure you are well taken care of. The lodge itself is located in a very woodsy area. The star-gazing was awesome! it's nice to be able to "spread out" by hanging out in the common areas...the living, game, and dining rooms. The game room does have a TV,... More

We had a wonderful one night stay at this lovely B & B. It's a great place if you're really looking to get away from things (as they have no tv in the rooms!). The staff were very friendly and made us feel right at home the minute we stepped in the door.

Total disappointment. I stayed there for 3 days, and the only thing I liked about the stay was the young lady who tried her best to make the best of the situation Location, room , and breakfast were totally disappointing. I paid my bill a day ahead of time and the women in the office commented -oh we like to... More

I am sorry that you were disappointed in your stay. We rely on our guests to initiate conversations with us in order to avoid imposing. If you were offended by our joking tone about payment that is unfortunate. You were probably unaware that unlike every other hotel or B&B we normally wait until check out before we take payment. We... More

The lodge just outside Flagstaff is located in a nice quiet area next to the forest. Room was adequate, clean although the bed was very noisy. If one of us moved the whole mattress reacted! Breakfast nothing special. Not as good a value as some other places. Location's shortcoming was that we had to drive 20 minutes into Flagstaff to... More

We loved the calm and beauty of Abineau lodge after the long drive from Las Vegas on our recent trip to Arizona and wished we had stayed more than 2 nights. We really like the local Tavern which is less than a 5 minute walk from the Lodge too. Everyone at Abineau made us feel very welcome and the breakfasts... More

We stayed at Abineau Lodge for two days to attend our granddaughters wedding which was held on the property. We truly enjoyed our stay. The place is beautiful, the rooms and gathering areas were great. We can't say enough good things about their staff especially Sandra. She is a joy and took good care of us. The breakfasts and service... More
