My wife and I stayed two nights at the Abineau Lodge. We really enjoyed it. The lodge was in a beautiful wooded setting, and the room and common areas were very cozy. We tried out the sauna and loved it. The breakfast was very tasty, and there was a nice local restaurant/pub just a few yards up the road that... More

This is a very special place. Total privacy, nice location in the ponderosa pines, yet a short drive from downtown flagstaff. Beautiful, super comfortable rooms, a nice common and dining area, great snacks and teas, and a very good breakfast. The hosts were polite and discrete. There is a giant hot-tub under the stars, a cedar sauna, and a super... More

I read all the reviews and thought this would be a great place to stay. I must say that I was disappointed. Our host was very helpful with suggesting sights to see and places to eat. The common room was comfortable and warm (stoves gave it a nice glow) However, the room was well furnished, but fairly basic and linens... More

We stayed for 1 night in December 2011, there was plenty of snowfall which made our stay even more memorable. Wish we had extended our stay by an additional night! Wendy the owner is a great hostess, she's friendly and inviting. She also provides a great home-cooked breakfast, the homemade granola is delicious! Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable,... This was my second trip here with my wife. This time felt even more inviting as the previous owners were not as hospitable. The location is superb, just minutes off the I17, 10 minutes south of flagstaff. Rooms are like a country getaway and very cozy. Breakfast is very filling and delicious. I always love the homemade granola as its... More

This is a delightful B&B for those of us who like to get away into the countryside . . . yet it is less than a 10 minute drive from Flagstaff, on good paved roads. The spacious living-dining areas are decorated in a relaxed country style, with burnished wood floors and railings and a number of polished wood tables for... More

Wendy the owner makes you feel like you are family. She is a fabulous cook and hostess. This is one of the few bed and breakfast that serves a delicious dinner as well as breakfast. The room/facility was spotless. The staff were helpful in finding activities locally and I would definitely return for another great stay. More

Our room ( dog sled suite ) was great and even at 1.5 hour drive to the canyon was easy travel to Flagstaff to enjoy dinner later that evening.Wendy and staff provided info to help tour our first visit to Arizona and provided a great one evening supper of chicken & cheese stuffed poblanos and a healthy selection of wines... Rustic place in an out of the way area just south of Flagstaff. Room we were in was very sparcely furnished, small and not that comfortable. The place had it's own rustic charm but after staying at a much nicer place in Flagstaff for only a few dollars more, this place did not come close in terms of value. Did... More

The Abineau Lodge was designed to encourage guests to get out of their rooms, meet other guests, lounge in the living rooms or on the decks and go explore Northern Arizona. We have purposely chosen not to install TVs, radios, or alarm clocks in any of our rooms in order to provide a quiet, soothing environment and to encourage conversation... More
