We loved our two night stay, and look forward to returning! We came 4 days before our wedding in the Grand Canyon, to meet vendors and do other last minute preperations. It could have been very hecktic and stressful, but Wendy and the lodge helped make it wonderful and very relaxed. The perfect remedy for our schedule. The food was... more

A cozy country lodge offered a quiet and comfortable nights rest nestled up to the woods. An elk was spotted as promised, if you're lucky enough to be out at the right time. Great hospitality and interesting conversation with a good breakfast was just perfect. This lodge is minutes from Flagstaff and scenic route 89a to Sedona. It was exactly... more

We stayed at Abineau Lodge to celebrate our anniversary. The room was clean and nicely decorated, the lodge was great as was the hot breakfast both mornings. It is a little outside Flagstaff, but not very far and no train noise! We will definitely be going back to this little gem of a B&B. The service was exceptional and we... more

There are lovely rooms in this lodge on the edge of the forest, within easy driving of Flagstaff and all the sites, while enjoying the peace and good breakfast at the Abineau. From walking in the Coconino Forest in the back yard to chatting with interesting people, photographing birds and elk, and getting good advice from the owner, we found... more

This B&B is about 7 miles south of Flagstaff,Az. It is a definite break from the train noise the constantly woke me in downtown Flagstaff. Quiet location with a nearby restaurant for that evening meal. We stayed before the busy season started and the service was excellent. Eight rooms have different themes,on the edge of woods. I would stay again... more

On our way to the Grand Canyon from Phoenix, my partner, his mom, my 3-yr-old daughter and I spent the night at the lodge. We found it convenient to Flagstaff (for dining and museums) while providing a comfortable getaway from city living. We all shared the Grand Canyon Suite for our evening (apropos) - having the separate pull-out bed for... more

My husband and I stayed three nights at the inn. We were warmly welcomed by the innkeeper, Wendy and two loving cats, Ziggy and Isaac. Everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay was available to us. Wendy's breakfasts were delicious, and we loved that we could enjoy them at a time of our choice. Wendy is also, very knowledgeable... more

We just stayed at the Abineau Lodge, formerly The Sled Dog Inn. It was a quaint bed and breakfast about ten minutes from the center of Flagstaff. We enjoyed the rooms, the breakfasts, and the chance to stay outside of the town of flagstaff. The staff was helpful recommending places to visit in the area, and the chance to enjoy... more

We loved out stay. Was just overnight, but the Lodge is nice and comfortable with a mix of older lodge feeling and convenient amenities - available board games,tv, computer. The breakfast was delicious. Visiting the sled dogs was a real treat for our family, as we have 2 Huskies in the family. Outside the city but not so far that... more
