That's what my husband said when we arrived. As promised it was a great location, the owners were great, it was clean and quiet. Mind you, he is happy in a tent and I am happy at The Ritz. The reason he convinced me to stay super budget for one night was lack of red or green carpet, both of... More

Didn't know what to expect with this motel as it was very cheap but we were pleasantly surprised. Had a very clean, decent sized room with free wifi and a flat screen. It's a budget hotel and suited us fine. Flagstaff can get cold at night so we made good use of the heater in the room. It's a motel... More

We stayed here one night on way to Grand Canyon. Guy in Reception not to friendly when we arrived. Stayed in Room 212. Room had 2 beds, very clean, bath and shower clean and good, fridge, microwave and coffee maker, also hair dryer for wife. Would we stay again, Yes. No breakfast but not an issue. Only thing I would... More

We only stayed for one night but wouldn't have any problems staying longer. It's nothing special but it certainly isn't too bad. It's a little out of the centre on a busy junction but for us just travelling through, it was fine. No breakfast here at all so plan that into your morning. The Highland Country Inn is easy to... We have just spent three nights at this hotel. The hotel is a ten minute walk from downtown. It is on the junction of two main roads and was generally quiet at night. There was no train noise. The hotel itself is old and needs some attention. The bed was comfortable and pillows okay. The older man on the desk... More

This is a place to stay for the night and it offers good value. For an overnighter, I expected nothing more than a clean and well-maintained room, and this place checked all the boxes. Front desk could have been friendlier, but otherwise I don't have many bad things to say about it.

We recently stayed at the Highland Country Inn. It is nothing fancy but the room was clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. It is located by a busy road but we were not bothered by outside noise. Good value for your dollar.

I'm in two minds about this place. You can get a room right in the heart of downtown for the same price, but then the parking is more limited and it can get noisy. This place is about a 5 minute walk from the centre of downtown, so it's hardly far away, but it is right on a busy junction,... More

Basic, older motel but very clean. Also, with the Windows shut it was fairly quiet, which most motels in Flag are fairly loud. I would prefer if they put a sheet on top of the bedspread as many nicer hotels do. Also, the remote didn't work very well. Some buttons worked and some didn't. Having a fridge and microwave in... This is an older, no frills hotel. It was very clean, with a frig/freezer which I appreciated since most have frig only. Great price. Needed a room as a stop over across country. Would definitely stay again. A little breakfast would be nice but don't think they have the space.
