This isn't a fancy hotel, but the rooms are very clean and comfortable. There's a small refrigerator and microwave in every room & free Wi-Fi too. The location is close to the great downtown shops, but not so close you have to deal with the crowds and noise. There was even a blow dryer in the bathroom. The only thing... More

Rooms are immaculate, the staff is super friendly, the location is good, the rates are a bargain. We stayed there about 6 times while we shopped for our house. Unless you need fancy this is the best in Flag.

Some others on TA had recommended this hotel and they were right on the money. Yes, the motel is older but immaculately clean. The rooms are surprisingly comfortable considering the location. This place even washes bedspreads between customers! How often is that done? The only suggestions I would make is to install a dual switch in the bathroom so you... More

We enjoyed two stays at Highland Country Inn. It is centrally located, clean, comfortable and quiet and a very good budget value. A large natural health foods store is across the street so we picked up a delicious meal after a long day on the road.

Reasonable quality room but 'fridge didn't work. Functional, clean and good value for money as a base for exploring Grand Canyon, Sedona etc. Quiet location but well positioned to access Flagstaff town centre which is only a few minutes walk away. Check out Natural Grocers store across the road!

Across the street from the Northwest corner of the Northern Arizona University sets a comfortable, clean, well maintained little motel that is walking distance to downtown and the university. We have stayed there a several times since our daughter started college. The price is right, the hospitality excellent and the location perfect. You can't go wrong here.

Stayed at Highland Country Inn 24 & 25 July 2014. Certainly glad we were able to get a single King room- peeked into a double queen and both beds were against opposing walls with a 3 foot area between beds. Bed was very comfortable. Separate bathroom was clean and above average in size. Cost was good for Flagstaff on a... More

I don't stay in Flagstaff much, but will stay here again. The room was inexpensive (+- $72 king non-smoking vs. Drury Inn across the street @ $160) and very clean. We wanted to stay close to downtown, but not along the train tracks. I think this was a good compromise for that. While you can hear the horn from a... More

This motel is great! This motel is very clean, the rooms are great, the beds are comfortable and the management is wonderful. Besides that the price is great and it is only a 10 minute walk (through a cool residential area) to old town Flagstaff. My wife and I just stayed there for 5 days and we will definitely will... The Highland Country Inn is close to downtown Flagstaff. It's located a few blocks from historic route 66, and The Flagstaff Train station. I stayed in a room that was at the end of the corridor. It was very private and quiet. There is one handicap parking space, so if you are handicap, make sure to get a room by... More
