My son and I spent a week, using the room as a hub to explore the San Francisco Peaks volcano field, Sedona and Grand Canyon area. We prefer a motel that wasn't cheaply built yesterday, and the Canyon Inn has Route 66 -appropriate '60s and '70's vintage. The couple managing the place lives on site, they are friendly and helpful... more

The motel was built in the 50s and we've recently remodeled both inside and out. We love to talk to our guests and make them feel welcome! Thanks so much for staying with us!

The night that I have stayed had no problems of getting the room.It was just that the check out was a mess. The room could have been cleaned alot better for what they have charged, which it could have been about $10 cheaper. Well with the check out I needed to get over to the train station to catch a shuttle... more

We understand the previous managers were not exactly hospitable and are sorry for your experience. Our check out process is very quick and easy. You can either leave your key in your room or bring it to the front desk. We take pride in caring for our guests and understand sometimes time restraints can cause delays. We try very hard...

I have stayed here 3 times. The first time was coming straight off the bus with tons of luggage. The manager and his wife were very friendly and helpful including helping me get my bags to the room and then back to the bus terminal the next morning. The only complaint that time was the fact that they made my... more

Arrived, stayed for about 1 hour, and found a roach crawling on the wall of the bathroom. We complained and told them we did not wish to stay there. Management would not give us a refund, we left immediately. According to the management roaches are not a good enough reason for a refund. Stayed at the comfort inn instead. Nice... more

My friends and I stayed at this hotel recently and were absolutely disgusted with how we were treated by one of the front desk clerks, Zack. He was rude, abrasive, unprofessional, uttlerly unhelpful and completely lacking in any customer service skills. I was quite surprised by his behavior, as I've stayed at this hotel several times before, and was actually... more

In response to the review about rude customer service, I would first like to say that Im sorry that they feel this way, but as it is, there are policies that every hotel must go by. Our policies at the time were that a guest is allowed one pet per room and that they must not be left unattended at...

I arrived in Flagstaff needing to find a moderately priced motel to stay while awaiting for my new job to start. At first I thought I might not want to stay, but I discovered that the owners and managers were new and in the process of updating the rooms and eliminating the previous problems. I had a very good expericence... more

On a busy holiday weekend we ended up at this place, which is right on the main road. While it may have been convenient, it was the nastiest place we've ever stayed. Besides stained towels and sheets and the unvaccumed floor, the room had bed bugs! We awoke in the middle of the night to find little red bugs crawling... more

I booked this hotel on-line and paid $152.50. But when I arrived there on 05/25/07, they asked me to pay more. Should I? The ants and insect were all over the floor, especially the bathroom. Both my wife and I got bit by insect and we were serious illness. We never see this kind hotel. Our government should not allow... more

I was shocked at the looks of the place for the price! The staff was friendly enough but we had to ask for another towel and ant spray because ants were all over the floor in the bathroom. There had been some improvements. But the worst thing was that when we got back from a day at the Grand Canyon... more

Do not, and I repeat do not stay here. With hindsight I wish I'd stayed outside on the pavement (it would have been cleaner). The staff were initially friendly (when booking in) but once our money had been secured that all changed. First thing to greet us upon entering our room was a used cotton bud (complete with ear wax)... more
