Friendly staff, nice hostel close to everything. Small but clean kitchen, comfy lounge and good wifi. If you arrive at the train station you can't miss the massive old neon sign! Free breakfast of pasties, fruit & sweet oatmeal. Macy's cafe round the corner does a mean flat white!!!

This motel is totally cool. It is walking distance from tons of cool restaurants and things to do and has a really nice laid-back atmosphere. Laundry facilities on site, free parking and the iconic sign out front. Our room has cable TV and pretty OK Internet. Next time we take a family trip to Flagstaff we are going to stay... More

I was traveling with 4 teenagers, one 50 something who needed a private room, and a 6'6" husband. We booked the one king room, a private suite with a double bed, and a 4 bed dorm room with private bath. All the rooms were great. The motel was super cute and very convenient to wonderful restaurants and downtown. We loved... More

What a nice place! We stayed for two nights in room 12 - just like a flat, actually. Only downside: the wifi doesn't work in the bedroom. Great facilities and very friendly staff. A great choice if you want to leave the car and enjoy the offerings at the many pubs... :-)

Found this place while looking for somewhere downtown to stay while visiting my daughter who lives in town. I spent three nights here- it was great! It's definitely very simple, I stayed in a private room, no tv, no phone but that made it very relaxing. My room was basic (old fashioned wood floor);VERY clean and well maintained. My room... More

I recently stayed here for six days and really enjoyed my stay. I heard about them through the Grand Canyon hostel, it's sister hostel (as they were full they referred me), but they have two dorms in motel du beau which is part hostel part motel. In the end I was glad I stayed there as it has a nice... More

We had #10, the king suite. The room was huge with lots of storage and desk space. No AC, but a fan was in the room (thank goodness). Tiny bathroom with little counter space. (Use the basket under the sink to hold your toiletries.) No tissues in the bathroom or elsewhere that I could find. The bed has two decorative... More

We arrived on the Amtrak around 10:30 and walked the block to the motel. Safe area with many people walking around the area. They had left our room key in the mailbox so we got into our room right away. We were disappointed that our bed was unmade -- it looked like the bedding had been washed and dried and... More

I stayed in a dorm. Rooms and bathrooms were comfortable and clean, the common area cozy and the staff always nice and eager to help. I even got on the grand canyon tour, they offered, and it was amazing. Flagstaff itself charmed me as well. The breakfast was not really my thing (toast, two kinds of marmelade and porridge) apart... I'm writing this review while waiting for the hot water to kick in for the shower. (+10 mins) I'm not a fancy kind of girl as I consider hot water and indoor plumbing a luxury. This place has neither (or you really have to work for it). Besides above mentioned shower, the toilet handle broke so you had to lift... More

As dedicated owners of the Motel DuBeau Travelers Inn and Hostel, we were saddened to hear that Nicole C. had a disappointing experience at the DuBeau, prompting a rating of only 1 star – ouch! We would like to extend our sincere apologies to Nicole and also thank her for bringing several maintenance items to our attention. Though a derogatory... More
