I so wanted this motel to be an okay experience. Wasn't looking for fancy just basic: clean bed and hot shower. I got a dirty but hot shower and a warm but slightly dirty bed. If wasn't after 10:30pm with a toddler, I wouldn't have braved the one night. There was mold in the shower, 3 hairs and 2 eyelashes... More

We are normaly not staying in two star hotels, but there was nothing else available, so we took the risk. The guys at the reception are extremely kind and that is the strongest point! The WiFi was OK too. The motel itself is not good, looks old, rooms are not smelling nice..., but one or two nights shouldn't be a... More

The good: All rooms are non-smoking. Chairs and ashtrays provided outside rooms for smokers. I saw previous complaints about the heat, but ours worked just fine. The bed was fine, tv was huge and wall mounted. Included a refrigerator. We weren't bothered by train noise. There was no coffee in the room, but is provided in the office along with... More

my husband and I always like to get hotels that are walking distance, so we don't have to worry about drinking and driving, so we decided to give this little motel a whirl, its a 5-10 min walk to downtown if you take the back streets through the neighborhoods, its very safe, even when we were coming back to our... I booked online for $28.00 which, after, taxes etc. came to $33.72. When I checked in he said there were additional taxes for new total of $34.50. I had room 107 on the end - Although the bed seemed fine, I woke up with a backache that had me wishing for a walker. The heat wouldn't come on at 3:30... More

This hotel was great for the price. Because we stayed more than two days they upgraded us from queen to king, and the manager did everything he could to answer our questions. The room itself was a little run down, but the bed, fridge, and huge TV all seemed new. We were moving into a new apartment, and he let... More

A trash can with a door, absolutely disgusting, it says you get a breakfast and when I asked I was told that im already getting the room for cheap and considering what it was I would have basically paid for the breakfast alone.

We were very happy with our stay at L Motel. This place exceeded all our expectations, especially as it is so reasonably priced. The rooms are clean, the beds and pillows must be new as they were very comfortable and there was a flat screen TV. The breakfast bagels with cream cheese were delicious and Kumar, on the front desk,... More

If you're looking for a nice place to stay close to the university, this place is it! Although dated, you can surely see that they are updating this motel. Our Family Room, three queen beds, was very roomy, clean, and comfortable. Upon arrival we met with Kumal, who was very friendly and welcoming, as well as the rest of the... More

Spacious family room with all the necessary amenities for a really good price. Fridge, coffeemaker, one big TV in each of the rooms and clean towels. The street is somewhat close and therefore a bit noisy. Downtown is in walkable distance.
