We booked using Marriott points. I was a bit apprehensive when reading reviews about outside corridors etc. Actually I think I'd have liked that but we were on the 3rd floor, which was also nice. I was more concerned about bugs getting in if it was an outside corridor, not realising at the time of booking that Flagstaff is cooler... More

I've stayed at a lot of Marriotts (my husband is an elite member) - my friends, I'm here to tell you that this is not the quality and type of Marriott that you're used to. The rooms are extremely small - it reminded me of an old motel that had been retrofitted - and the bathroom was so tiny. The... More

Our room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was good with nice choices. The staff was exceptional friendly and helpful. There was a dry erase board in the lobby with the daily forecast and trivia. One morning there was a large group of bikers staying at the hotel and the staff choose trivia that dealt with motorcycles as they knew it... More

We stayed here on our way though, planning to visit the Grand Canyon the next morning. The Flagstaff area is beautiful and this hotel is built up on a hill in picturesque surroundings. This property is easily accessible from I-40 with gasoline and restaurants nearby. As other reviewers have mentioned, floors 1 and 2 have exterior facing doors (which in... More

Hello ray_priddy, Thank you for taking the time to provide travelers with a review regarding your recent stay with us. As you mentioned, we are in fact an older style Fairfield. In fact, we are actually the prototype property for the Fairfield Generation ONE brand. While we offer an older style property, we like to overcome possible shortcomings by providing... More

I call myself a Marriott snob and need to say this property was disappointing. First and second floor entrances to rooms are on exterior, third floor room entrances on interior. Seems like a motel not a Marriott property. Room was tiny and bathroom even more small and needed a little tlc updating.

Greetings jlskjs, Thank you very much for providing feedback regarding your recent visit to Flagstaff. Unfortunately, we failed to meet the expectations of what a Marriott experience should be. I am embarrassed to hear that a repeat Marriott customer such as yourself had the experience you did. Please note that the experiences you had will be discussed with the proper... More

Stayed at the Fairfield Inn in Flagstaff on a busy Saturday night during Labor Day weekend. The room was very nice with screened windows that could open and let in the fresh pine air. The hot breakfast which was free with the stay offered something for everyone and was one of the better free breakfast buffets. The staff kept up... More

The hotel is a low-end Marriott, comprising three floors of accommodation, and a small groundfloor reception and breakfast area. Our room was on the third floor; it appeared that only one lift served the building, which was inadequate given the amount of luggage many guests were moving. It was small but adequate, with king bed, a microwave, bar fridge and... More

I spent more than one week in this hotel in middle of August. It's a good starting place to visit the area: just a base point to be back in the night, sleep, have a breakfast and go out for another day. The room was enough big for two. The bathromm is small but it has everything needed. The cleaning... More

Budget option hotel if you are looking to spend the night while exploring northern Arizona and the Grand Canyon. The hotel looks as if it was retrofitted into a Fairfield Inn. The first two floors have outside corridors while the third floor is a standard layout with an interior corridor. The rooms are basic with a very small bathroom. They... More

This is a nice property and would work for business or family trip. The room was clean and neat, but basic. It is on a busy main street in town. It is close to everything you need. We stayed here just one night on the way through town.
