Very pleased with this hotel. Front desk was helpful with dinner suggestions. Room was clean and everything worked. Bed was fine. It's a few blocks away from the infamous railroad but you couldn't hear the trains. Room was nice and quiet. Very typical Fairfield Inn which isn't a bad thing. If you stay here you won't be disappointed. more

I consider myself an expert on this small mountain town. I went to NAU during the 90s and not much has changed since. I really enjoy this hotel. First, be aware that this is a motel. Only the top floor rooms open into a hallway. Rooms and decor are somewhat dated and our room smelled of smoke. Stayed 2 nights in May 2009. Room was clean, but small. This is an older facility, which appears to have been renovated into a Fairfield. Bottom floors are outside corridors. Not good. We booked a two beds room with a desk. It is roomy enough, The room is clean, no stinky smell. We got a good sleep. This is a safe bet for the price we paid. more

Very nice motel. The breakfast room was bright and cheerful with a big variety of things to choose from.
