Made reservations for 2 sites almost 6 weeks in adavance. At res was given the two adjoining site numbers. Check in and surprise. Not the same spots and not together. OK it got messed up dissapointing but not the end of the world. The next 5 minutes sucked. The rude owner and his wife wanted to push the blame on... More

I chose to have my boys be happy about spending a night in a TeePee. It was pretty cool and they were excited about it. The KOA overall was not my favorite KOA - I'm starting to become a regular KOA gal! KOA's do work great for traveling with school aged kids. The extra ammenities were a welcome - they... More

We enjoyed our stay here. The weather was so lovely that sleeping in a tent just seemed so natural. It was a bit chilly in the night but with all of the stars and the enchanting night desert air we were content. Laundry facilities were excellent. It was not to crowded and navigating around the campground was easy. Great Camping.... More

Typical of KOA, the staff works hard at service; amenities abound. Also typical, the setting is mostly in the open with very limited tent sites and pretty average RV sites just off a major highway just outside of Flagstaff--so this is NOT a Grand Canyon campground so far south (and not low-cost). Note, though, that I got a much improved... More

We decided last minute to go to Flagstaff on the Saturday during Memorial weekend. All of the hotels, including the dive hotels, were completely booked OR were comically over-priced. I checked the KOA site and was lucky to find a cabin that was available (we have a 3 & 4 year old that can get loud and fussy so the... More

Arrived to a grid lock 3 RVs checking in one trying to get out, you have to wait to be shown your site. Hello I know we are Scottish but I can read numbers. Sites are very close together infect nearly on top of each other and not the most level we have been on, good job we had the... More

This place must be perfect for campers with kids. The campground is beautiful with tall pines and lots of things to see and places to explore. We normally find this kind of campground way to expensive, which is why I rated it Average on value for money. But it was a very cold night and we arrived after dark, too... More

My husband was at the campground when he became very ill Not wanting to disappoint the kids, he told us go on to Sedona and he would stayed behind. I was worried about him but I left him to recuperate at the park. To my horror I realized that I accidentally took his phone. I called the office for help... More

The men staffing this place were rude and generally unhelpful when I stayed overnight in the winter Dec 29-30. I had trouble getting the water turned on and they were impatient, acted as if it was my fault, made fun of my efforts, and the electricity was off during the night which caused the refrigerator set on AC to go... Being close to the Grand Canyon and being close to shopping, restaurants and facilities is a key reason to stay. A bit pricey but everything in the area is. Campground offers a variety of camping options from cabins, tee-pees, tents, trailers and RVs. Staff is welcoming and friendly. Cable TV is available and so is wifi. Our only complaint was... More
