We stayed at the Flagstaff KOA for a special vintage Volkswagen event, the first annual "High Altitude Kampout". The campground is very nicely tended to, wooded, and shady. It sits right at the foot of Mount Elden, and has great easy access to the Coconino National Forest and numerous trails. The facilities were very nice-- clean restrooms and showers, pleasant... more

I don't mean to be mean but.... We camped here for one night in April in out 30ft RV. The first site had no water within reach and the elec landline was stretched to it's limit, the park was almost empty (well it was 5 below) but changing pitch was a half hour job and a lot of fuss and... more

We've stayed here three times over the past two years. The campground is easy to get to from the highway. There are a variety of sites, and although we have a little trailer, we always get a pull through with full hookups.
