On our way back from our vacation in San Diego, we stayed at this Motel 6. Tired from all the driving, in the dark, and not knowing the city of Flagstaff, we were just looking for a good night's sleep so we could get up early and head back to Colorado. This motel was disgusting!!! From cigarette burns in the... more

The people here are so nice. I've been here twice and will be back. Conveniently located across from a Wal-Mart and a very nice grocery store (Basha's). I-HOP short distance away and several other restaurants. No frills room, of course, but the beds are decent and the people are so nice! more

i stayed here for a week to do some hiking in the area- sedona is an easy drive from flagstaff. the staff were courteous but the facility is sometimes understaffed. one day there was no room service and i had to go to the office for towels. the rooms were generally clean but the carpeting really needed to be shampooed.... more

Looking at the reviews on this one I hesitated before booking, but I'm glad I did. Maybe I just got lucky with the room, who knows. The room was very cheap (39$ for a double), very clean, had good beds and a decent shower, individual airco, and it was quiet at night. The staff was really nice and helpfull. That's... more

Falgstaff is expensive, especially in September. The Good: Close to Northern Arizona University, restaurants, easy access. Decent mattress. The Bad: Dirty and worn, moldy smelling carpet. I've never stayed in a place that needed exterior paint as bad as this place does. Crappy wi-fi service. more

The room was filthy: Dirty footprints in the shower, hair on the basin, holes in towels. The shower door did not seal, so there was water leakage and mildew on the floor. The backing on the shower faucet fell off, exposing the wall. The carpet was not vacuumed (food crumbs on the floor). Room had no internet access (after clerk... more

This was the only hotel that I and my son stayed at during a 2 week vacation that had no redeeming qualities. The less expensive cost of lodging was NOT worth the price. This is a three story motel with outside sidewalks instead of interior hallways. How did I hate thee, let me count the ways: 1. Confused and rude... more

We were too worn out to do another night camping, so we decided to look for a hotel. We were blown away at how expensive even other budget hotels were. Finally we found this Motel 6 ($50 versus a $35 tent pad at KOA). The staff was extremely overwhelmed with other last minute bookings but were working so hard to... more

Standard Motel 6 room, with wonderfully firm beds (the nights before we had much too soft beds: see Apache Motel, Moab). Good location with many restaurants in walking distance (e.g. Red Lobster, Sizzler, etc.). Moreover, Wall Mart is just across the street. Very good value for money. Flagstaff is a great city: not to big, but with all services you... more

I gave three stars as it is average for Motel 6 and the price range. Any higher price and it would have gone down in number of stars quickly. Keep in mind you are paying about the lowest rate you'll see in hotels (I suppose next to working for one), and thus you need to keep your expectations at a... more
