I stayed at Grand Canyon International Hostel for two nights to visit the South Rim of Grand Canyon and the Meteor Crater. The Hostel itself is quite small and not very new. But it is as clean as it is possible with old furniture. I loved the decorations at the walls and the breakfast was ok. The only thing really... more

I’ve stayed in all kinds of places during my trips and my standards aren’t very high, but this one stands at the very bottom. We got a tiny room that could barely be entered, as people were sitting right next to our door until late at night on inconveniently placed couches. So far for privacy. The bathrooms aren’t too great... more

When we got to the Hostel, we were stunned at what great value it seemed - tidy, central etc. Unfortunately that night, we got completely munched by bed bugs, which leave huge itchy welts on your body. The guy who ran the place also tried to blame us for bringing the bed bugs into the hostel, even though we hadn't... more

I worked at Grand Canyon National park for 6 months and to escape I went down to Flagstaff a couple times a month. I usually stayed at the Hostel and I always had a pleasent experience. Its noisy especially being across the street from multiple bars in a college town and the trains go by at least 3 an hour... more

This hostel is lovely! The staff is very kind (they even gave us a ride to the bus station!), the atmosphere is very relaxed and it's a good place to meet people. They have nice private rooms for 40 dollars. I also recommend the Grand Canyon Tour organized by the hostel. It'a a good deal and truly breathtaking.. Flagstaff is... more

well it's a typical hostel. not too clean. not too dirty either. two kitchens and internet for $2/half hour. my main complaint was the noise. the train was soooooooooooo loud and there were a bunch of obnoxious drunks walking outside all night. we barely got any sleep. more

This hostel is wonderful. We were welcomed by a staff member and shown around. We had booked a private room and I was really happy with the service. The hostel is very clean. There is shared bathrooms on each floor but they are super clean and I never had to wait for a shower. Kitchen on both floors and again... more

This hostel was one of the best I've ever stayed in. I'm a little older than the average hosteller, but found a nice mix of people of all ages. It was sometimes a little noisy at night, but that's what I expect from a hostel, so didn't mind, nor did I mind the noise of the train. The staff were... more

The hotel staff was extremely friendly, and were constantly cleaning everywhere, so it left me with confidence that the laundry sheets were clean as well (although looked old). The train and the noise didn't bother me at all, but I used to live next to a train station. I spent a good deal in the lobby chatting with the guests... more
