My wife and I happened on this place on our way to the Grand Canyon and we stopped for breakfast. We didn't stay so can only comment on the restaurant. We couldn't ask for better. Everything was clean, and we could help ourselves to all we wanted. The food was freshly and properly cooked, the staff were friendly, we couldn't... More

The title of the review says most of what we experienced. When you factor in the half price lift tickets, its proximity to Snowbowl and the breakfast that is included I would definitely rate this as a good value. I knew before booking that the cabins had two double beds. With my wife and 2 adult sons I knew it... More

We stayed here the night before and the night following our winter climb up to Humphrey's Peak. It is the closest place to stay to Humphrey's Peak and the Snowbowl by far--much closer than hotels in Flagstaff. At 5:00 in the morning, we did not want to be on back roads any longer than necessary. The room was clean, but... More

We came here as a one night trip to get out of the Phoenix heat. The location is pretty convenient if you are planning on going skiing it would be a great value. The things I enjoyed was that it was pet friendly, so we could bring our snow dog along with us and she could enjoy the short vacation... More

You can't get any closer to the ski lift or trail head to Humphreys Peak Trail. This is a great area only 6 miles from the Lava River Cave. If you want a place to be close to the country and outdoors then this is the place for you. If you want a place that is in town, with shopping... More

While its not 5 star accommodation, it actually is pretty good value for money. The location is convenient, just a short drive from the slopes. The rooms were warm and clean. My only complaint was the shower which fell short of the mark, especially when one is trying to get ready on a very cold morning! Still not completely unusable.... More

So this place is a dive. BUT... it's clean, has a sort of rustic charm, AND if you are skiing you save half off your lift ticket, so for us that was $44 per day, which meant I was paying less than $40 a night for the room. You get what you pay for, AND you can totally live with... More

This place was totally disgusting. Even my three year old said "Mommy what's that smell?" It's way over priced. We ended up leaving and canceling the rest of our trip. Bed was rock hard. No tub, had to wash my three year old in a filthy shower. You'd be better off staying at a three star chain in town.

Thank You for your feedback. The smell was associated with faulty plumbing and has since been remedied. We apologize for any inconvenience. We do offer rooms that have a full bath and shower. As far as our prices go, we are very competitive with the medium range rooms in Flagstaff and we are the only place that offers 50% off... More

We avoided going here for 15+ years. Just looked like a little shack. But a friend talked us into trying it. Excellent, wide selection of food. Good service. Nice place. Kind of far out of town but nice place.

I'm pretty sure that everything on the menu is really good, but the beer-battered fish was the best I've had since London! This is a great little restaurant that serves lunch on weekends and dinner nightly. Cozy, relaxed ambiance. Wonderful, friendly servers. I will go more often now that I know dinner is served!
