I was excited about staying at the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel in Scranton, PA. The lobby was impressive, but my room a huge disappointment. I have a room with one queen bed (what I expected) but there's maybe four feet on either side of the bed and that takes you from the windows to the wall of the bathroom. This... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of our property. I apologize that you found your room to be small. Being a historic property, our rooms do range in size. The business class suites that you mentioned are quite spacious, though. I would be happy to take you on a tour of these rooms upon your next... More

We have family in Scranton and always stay at the Lackawanna Station. It is a wonderful hotel and the food in the dining room and bar are excellent. We love the house orange cognac salad dressing. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The hotel is a fine restoration of the train station. It's a very short walk to town. Scranton... More

I had paid for a room that would accommodate 2 adults and a 7 year old child. I ended up with a room with one Queen size bed. I had to go out and buy an air mattress for my daughter to sleep on. The bathroom was what was most disturbing. The toilet seat was barely attached, I flirted with... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of our property. I am sorry to see that our double queen rooms were sold out at the time of your booking and that you had to reserve a room with one queen bed. We do get quite busy in the summer and it seems that the rooms with two... More

We stayed here one night. The lobby was the best thing about the hotel--very grand, from turn of the last century. Our tired-looking room had an odd odor, and housekeeping had overlooked a large plastic hair clip on the carpet, which must have been left by a previous guest (or maybe the housekeeper). The bathroom was pretty clean. The HVAC... More

We quickly searched for a nice downtown hotel and were pleased to find this landmark. We walked in looking for a room and sure enough we were accommodated. They were rather full because of a high school prom and didn't have any issues with noise. The restaurant 'Carmen's' had great food. We had a late night snack after a poor... More

Full service hotel offering a variety of dining options. I had never slept on a Sleep Number bed and was asleep within 5 minutes of laying down. Room was basic but very clean. Improvement could be a better in room coffee service.

Once past the impressive lobby area I opened the door to an extremely mediocre room. The first thing I noticed was the odd odor (I'd call it great-grandma's house) and the spartan furnishings. The room, tucked into an odd corner of the building, was tremendously spacious. Despite this, the room was appointed with one queen bed, a desk and office... More

Wonderful change from the sterile new hotels. The historic property offers everything in a grande deluxe style of an era of the past. Enjoy the Cafe, Carmen's or Trax for your favorite food or beverage. This is a great location for a wedding, reception or social get together.

My husband and I spent one night in Scranton on a recent trip to Pennsylvania. The room was also very reasonably priced.... More
