I recently attended my brothers wedding at the Radisson. The banquet servers were very polite and attentive. John was our server, was very thoughtful. we didn't need for anything. he was kind enought to say how much he enjoyed the wedding and the guests. the food was very good aswell. overall we had a really good time.

We splurged and reserved a Jacuzzi room for our 1 night stay. After a long drive, we pulled in at 6:30pm. There were several people ahead of us to check-in. One was told that their room was not ready, and another said that they were given a room that had not been cleaned! Sure enough when we got to the... More

I want to genuinely apologize for the experience you had on your visit, and assure you that our entire management staff was in fact dealing with the isolated issue which caused your wait, and this is why I was initially unavailable to personally address your concerns. I want to express that the mitigating factor causing the disruption in service was... More

Forget about anything good or nice here. I travel 200+ nights a year and this hotel, by far, shows the most "I don't care" "it's not out problem" of any hotel I stay in. Nothing gets fixed, it's just an apology. Travelers are tired of that. Oh, and ask for the manager, and I quote, " she's not here, I'm... More

I am very disappointed to read your review, and hear your comments about employee negativity. This is very uncharacteristic of our staff, and cannot help but apologize that this was your experience. I can assure you that all guest issues are documented and swiftly addressed and corrected, and I want to apologize if you feel that in your experience this... More

This place needs an update. Yes it's the old train station and the lobby is stunning. However I don't generally sleep in the lobby. In a hotel at this price point I would expect a chair in the room for reading and relaxing. There was none. The shower area still had one of those plastic surrounds that you would expect... More

This hotel is beautiful in the lobby, but the rooms are definitely not up to par. The air conditioner goes on and off through the night. The walls are paper thin so it sounds like you are standing in the room/bathroom with the person in the room next to you. Doors shutting sound like doors slamming all morning. Maids are... More

Thank you for your review. I am terribly sorry to hear that you were disturbed by the testing of the fire alarms, I will definitely review our processes with our team to ensure that while performing any type of service checks, our guests are not negatively impacted in any way. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience, and assure you these... More

I travel every week for work, and this is a true Experience Hotel... with a staff that just gets it. True, it is not a modern facility, but that is it's old world charm. Very clean. Historically significant and beautiful to stay in. The World Tour dinner menu in Carmen's 2.0 restaurant is consistently as good as any restaurant I... More

I stayed at this hotel once. I had won a bid on one of those websites that helps you find rooms for cheap rates. Luckily, I won the room for only $50. Normally, these rooms are hundreds of dollars. If I had paid that, I would have been upset. Although this building is gorgeous and historical, the only thing it... More

Staying at this hotel was a big mistake. Took our grandchildren to Steamtown (train museum) and thought it would be great to stay at the railroad station turned into a hotel. The air conditioning quit in the middle of the night, the tv had poor reception and the room was old but clean. Had breakfast at their restaurant, another mistake.... More

Our stay was average; comfortable room, reasonable rate and attentive service. The lobby is the big deal about our visit. It has the grandness of the old railroad stations with the art and décor of Tiffany glass, mosaic wall art and floors with comfortable seating and ample room for guests arriving and leaving. The lobby also contains a café( open... More

We are so glad that you enjoyed your visit, and especially our Grand Lobby Atrium. It is certainly a spectacular space, and something we in Scranton cannot help to be proud of. We are just nearing the completion of a full cleaning and polishing of our gorgeous original Tiffany glass vaulted ceiling, which only adds to the luster and illumination... More

This is a unique building, but the inside and outside are tired and worn. The hallways, room, elevators, fitness room appear run down and overused. Our room was large enough to accommodate a family of four nicely, and the mattresses were some of the best we have slept on. However, ceiling plaster was visibly peeling off and there was a... More
