This is a very nice hotel, but as a business traveler an internet connection is critical. Throughout my stay the connection was slow if I could connect at all. I had to resort to using my cell phone's internet connection to send a document to a customer. I've worked for an internet service provider providing technical support for hotel internet... more

Gets very good reviews because simply of very good staff on the desk and on the floor. The rooms are great as you would expect. The exercise room is not listed but very good. The pool is deserted but great to unwind. Really don't know why they add the parking charge which seesm to irritate lots of visitors and if... more

My wife and I have stayed here twice - once in Sept 08 and again in Oct 09. Got the deal with breakfast included. Nice hotel - great rooms and pretty good room service. Didn't use the pool, but it seemed fine. Breakfast was very good. more

Stayed here for three nights during a visit to Steamtown National Park (within walking distance). It is right in downtown and close to lots of restaurants and Steamtown Mall. Rooms were average for a Hilton hotel. The hotel bar offered a good late night option. Pay parking is available in the garage next door. The main downside was the breakfast... more

I resisted booking here because it did not have a free breakfast and because you have to pay for parking, but I'm glad I did because this is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. It's wonderful. The room was spacious and clean. We were on the 6th floor so there was no noise from the street.... more

I stayed at a few other hotels during this mini-vacation, and this would not have been my favorite. Stayed at Best Westerns for the previous 2 nights, and thought they were a better over-all value. The Hilton was beautiful and very clean. The staff was outstanding! The hotel had an indoor pool and a hot tub, a nice fitness center,... more

Stayed here as an overnight on our way to New Hampshire. We really only wanted a quick off the highway place with an indoor pool for our son for around $100. However- we needed a place that was pet friendly and this was one of the few options. The pet fee is $75 ($25 refundable) which made our bill a... more

My wife, our three young kids and I stayed here just one night on Thursday July 2nd. We used priceline to get a decent discount on the room - it ended up under $90 with the parking fee, taxes, etc. included. For that price, my only complaint at all was that there was intermittent street noise (a few cars with... more

I stayed at the hotel for just 1 night as I was there on business so have not used the other facilities much. Hotel is in downtown Scranton. Parking garage is next to the hotel. The hotel charges $10 for parking for 24 hours at the garage. Check in was smooth. Room is decent but needs to be upgraded with... more
