We stayed two nights at the Springfield Marriott this past weekend and have only nice things to say about it. The hotel is conveniently located right off the highway in downtown Springfield. Our room was clean and comfortable with lovely views of the city and the river. The lobby was simple and elegant, and we loved the local landscapes by... More

This hotel was classy, clean and comfortable. We got a deal since we have AAA. It is a beautiful hotel with most all ammenities at your convenience. We received a room on the 11th floor looking over the huge park that sits on top of one of their roofs. It also looked down upon the indoor pool and patio. There's... More

1. Location Centrally located in downtown Springfield. Easy access to I-91. Connected to parking garage and a small shopping mall (Many retail spaces were empty. There was a food court.) There were many restaurants and bars within walking distance from the hotel. We were told not to walk at night, but we did, and had no problems. Also, there was... More

My family and I were out in Springfield for my brother’s college graduation. In total there were 10 of us, with 5 rooms. The location was perfect, as it was easily accessible and in a good part of town, near restaurants and shops. Outside of that, the rest was disappointing. None of us got our King bed requested fulfilled. The... More

We recently stayed at the Marriott in Springfield. Between us, we had 5 rooms reserved. We were on the 11th floor and the views were really nice...some of the river and bridge and some of the roof garden and pool area. We were staying in order to attend my son's graduation from UMass. We couldn't get dinner reservations in the... More

The Marriott is a reputable name in hotels and is typically very good in all categories. The Springfield Marriott was very comfortable, but I found the service a bit tired. I suppose I can't complain if the service was par, but it was not exceptional by any means. However, our location downtown was perfect. UMASS Amherst was graduating the following... More

Pricelined this hotel for $65, normally over $200. Real nice place with all the bells and whistles you expect in a downtown Marriott. You really can't beat a Marriott room, and for $65, what a deal. Like any Marriott, nothing is for free, everything is expensive. Parking is $14 a day, coffee is $3 and the restuarant is over-priced. I... More
