We spent last weekend at the Rockwell Lighthouse. The owner takes you out to the island and then shuttles you once a day into town. He is very nice The house itself is quite old and in need of some real TLC. It is very quirky and fun, but a thorough cleaning is greatly needed. If you can look past... More

Beautifully built lighthouse, with enough room for a decent group of 6-10 people. Went there with a close friends (couple) and my husband. Enjoyed every moment of it. The owner is very eccentric indeed, but very easy fellow to get along with. He let us use a skiff to travel to town and back for more supplies when we needed... More

Watching a sunset, with eagles circling overhead, sitting in the hot tub, as Island folks' scurry back and forth to the main land. The wind blows gently though your hair and you wonder if there is anything more peaceful on earth. The owner is a delightful, if a bit eccentric, host as he shuttles you out to your very own... More

Rockwell light is an experience not to be missed. I prefer a winter stay when the surf is crashing on the rocks below the hot tub and the snow is falling. A unique place.
