Enjoyed our stay and breakfasts. Donna was very accommodating and friendly. No real complaints, just know this is a older home with antiques and claw foot bathtubs. Shower pressure very low, king bed comfortable. Had window air conditioner. Enjoyed the living area downstairs. Very quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed view over town of Luray.

We spent 1 night here, the owners were so accommodating nothing was too much trouble. Donna was the most charming host we have ever had, would strongly recommend this lovely place, you will not be disappointed.

This is what a B&B should be. Paul, owner, lives offsite but came over as soon as we called and gave us a tour of what is a lovely victorian house into which a lot of work has clearly gone. Bit chilly for us to use the outdoor hottub or to explore the good looking gardens but the view over... More

Sits on a hillside overlooking the town with a mountainous backdrop...this is what you can expect when you pull up. Paul and his wife are amazing hosts and strive to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. This B&B is chock full of heirloom furniture, original dark and creeky hardwood floors, & old time photos that cover walls as you walk... More

We'd like to thank these guest for remarking on their positive experience at our B&B. I must make one correction, however, to the guests' comments. All of our guest rooms have private bathrooms, but two of the rooms have their private baths outside the room in the hallway. Seeing the bathroom in the hallway, this guest must have assumed it... My wife and I and our two small dogs stayed one night at the MayneView for a wedding in Luray. The location was great, and the B&B is in a wonderful old home. Our issue was how we were treated upon arrival with the dogs. We searched for "pet-friendly" places on a Hotels.com, and the MayneView was listed. To be... More

We're sorry that this guest did not have a good experience with our pet friendly accommodations. Over the 10 years we've owned the inn, we have rarely had any issues with dogs and we are happy to have them stay at our B&B. It is unusual for a guest to arrive with a pet without first telling us about it.... More

This was officially my first time staying in a b&b. The innkeeper, Paul was very helpful giving us a full rundown of the house and the area. It was really very nice and clean. We had just completed 3 days of "executive" style hiking which was staying in lodges each night after hiking 10 miles. We stayed in the 3rd... More

After a day of hiking and wandering the area my wife and I made it to MayneView and were happy to be there. We met the owner on the porch and he showed us all the amenities the B'n'B had to offer. We stayed in the Merlin Room, which has a bathroom inside the room. The other rooms each have... More

We just got back from Mayneview, where we spent the night after hiking in the SNP. The hosts were welcoming and gracious, but not overbearing. The breakfast was very good--a buffet with French toast, an egg, sausage and potato dish, and a scrumptious hot fruit. Our room, the PenDragon, was nice, but crowded with furniture, as was the style in... More

Paul and Sally are wonderful people. Paul is a warm welcoming person. The inn was easy to find and the room was very clean, spacious and well appointed. We spent a very pleasant evening on their porch, looking out at a beautiful view of the mountains and of the historical town of Luray. We were there to visit the caverns... More

We had a very pleasant stay along our journey down the Blue Ridge Mountains with a stop at the Luray Caverns. The house oozes charm and history and breakfast was outstanding. Watching the sunrise over the mountains with a cup of coffee on the porch was delightful. The proximity to downtown restaurants and the caverns was especially convenient. A good... More
