Paul and Sally are wonderful people. Paul is a warm welcoming person. The inn was easy to find and the room was very clean, spacious and well appointed. We spent a very pleasant evening on their porch, looking out at a beautiful view of the mountains and of the historical town of Luray. We were there to visit the caverns... More

We had a very pleasant stay along our journey down the Blue Ridge Mountains with a stop at the Luray Caverns. The house oozes charm and history and breakfast was outstanding. Watching the sunrise over the mountains with a cup of coffee on the porch was delightful. The proximity to downtown restaurants and the caverns was especially convenient. A good... More

Surprisingly pleasant, clean, comfortable, and affordable. What else do you need? Beautiful house with a lot of history that sat on top of a hill. The town is a small lovely town with some history. The house is very close to the Luray caverns which is a site to see. No complaints at all. Not high luxury but just good... More

Paul and Sandy are wonderful people - you feel right at home. A beautiful 100 year old Victorian home - this is also in a very good location. Wonderful views of the mountains and a quick walk to all the main eating places in town. This was my 7 year old's first stay at a B&B and he was quite... More

This was my first time ever in a B&B, so I was excited for a new experience. My friend and I were in town for a wedding, and, as we were going to get in late, we stopped by before check in time, and the owner showed us around. This was quite helpful, as we didn't want to wake anyone... More

During our vacation we chose to stop to see Luray Caverns and Shenandoah National Park, and decided to try the Mayneview BnB for an evening. It is an historic building, nicely furnished and clean and fresh. It was a hot and humid day, but Paul turned on the a/c in our room so it was quite pleasant. The grounds are... More

Spent the night here with my 60 lb. dog on an overnight between two long dayhikes up in Shenandoah National Park. It was a great choice. First, the location in Luray is amazing. Set just outside of the historic downtown the front yard gives you relaxing views of the town all the way to the Blue Ridge Mountains. Plenty of... More

We want to thank this guest for the complimentary remarks but we do need to make one correction. As with all of our rooms, the Guinevere room does have air conditioning . Perhaps the guest missed this information at check-in. More

We spent 1 night here on our way down the Skyline Drive. Beautiful old house set in 3 acres overlooking the mountains. Hosts were wonderful throughout and breakfast was delicious. Had our own private bathroom set along the landing from our room, but no problem. Room and bed is very comfortable with complementary soft drinks, and snacks. Downstairs guest lounge... More

My boyfriend and I only were able to stay here for one night, but it was very nice and enjoyable. The owners were courteous but not over bearing. We stayed in the Pen Dragon, which had an especially wonderful bath tub. Unfortunately we got side tracked to the wonderful hot tub out front. We also became buddies with the house's... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Mayneview back in January. The house was beautiful, our room was very cozy and spotless, with an adorable little fireplace. Our bed was very comfortable and we slept like babies. Immediately upon arrival we were met by the owners who were so sweet, and very welcoming to both us and our dog. It was... More
