We just returned from a trip to see the fall colors in the mountains of Virginia and North Carolina. If you ever do the Skyline Drive this Bed and Breakfast is a MUST. It is near the beginning of the Skyline Drive from Front Royal, Virginia. It is only 9 miles off the drive and absolutely worth getting off for.... more

We am extremely disappointed with our stay at the River Cabin on Sunday October 19th. The high expectation created by the website did not match the reality of a place which seemed a bit like an abandoned house, not in use since at least the end of the summer - death flies on the window sills, no coffee in the... more

Well, I just re-read the reviews I read before I booked our trip to the Victorian Inn, and I feel like we stayed in a different place! This is a long review, so be warned... My husband and I spent a weekend here, and it was interesting, to say the least. The first thing we noticed as we approached the... more

Our two night stay at the Victorian Inn (part of the Woodruff Inns in Luray, VA) was all I had hoped for! My boyfriend was very impressed with this surprise destination for his birthday weekend. The Turret Suite is very romantic with its gorgeous, dramatic four poster bed and jacuzzi in the room (vs. in the bathroom). Sherry in the... more

Sometime in the fall of 2007 my girlfriend and I visited Luray Caverns in the Shenandoah Valley. While in town we were looking for a good place to eat dinner and we were referred to the Victorian Inn. We were seated outside in a kind of “lovers gazebo” practically all alone, where we spent hours talking laughing and dining. Both... more

We got more then what we expected; we loved our accommodations, but the food was just superb. Breakfast excellent, afternoon Tea excellent, Dinner excellent! My wife and I were looking for a two day getaway. She chose a place called the victorian Inn. At first, I was a little skeptical of the whole bed and breakfast idea but it took a total of 5 minutes upon arrival to know that we were in a very caring, and professional hands.cell phone service wasn't working, and... more

Our wedding/elopement was perfect thanks to an unbelievable staff's attention to detail, despte no notice. WE showed up without a reservation and decided to get married on the spot and they made it happen for us. The garden was a perfect setting for a very intimate wedding, the cuisine and the accomodations were elegant. Both my fiance and myself flet... more

Our weekend away started on Friday morning with an 1 1/2 hour drive from Woodbridge, VA. The drive was very scenic - beautiful fall leaves... The inn was amazing and very inviting. We stayed in the Turret Suite which had a huge king size bed. The jacuzzi for two was great and had plenty of room (I'm 6'4" and my... more
