We rented a riverfront primitive site and loved it! We so enjoyed coffee in the morning and wine in the evening watching the river and listening to the water - it was so relaxing and peaceful. It was a holiday weekend so quite busy - the sound of the river drowns out noise from other campers which is very nice... More

We tent camped with our 2 young children on a riverfront primitive site. The primitive sites are nice and quiet down by the river. One word of warning, they do provide handcarts, but the primitive sites are a bit far from the parking lot (and the bathrooms) and down a fairly steep incline, so if you're schlepping a lot of... The two things that really made this campsite for me were the friendliness of the staff and the ease of access to the beautiful clear river.
