While searching the internet for a special honeymoon vacation we ran across Brookside Cabins in Luray located just next door to The Shenadoah National Park. We arrived early on a Monday hoping there would be no problem checking in and to our suprise the room was ready early!! We were shocked to find a cozy and romantic little cabin that... more

My friend and I just returned from brookside and we had a wonderful experience. The Tranquil cottage that we stayed in was so cozy and immaculate. We have made a commintment to come here at least once a year if not twice just to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We are also going to recommend... more

These cute cozy cabins sit right off the road on the way to Luray. Behind the cabins is a lovely brook, and there is a restaurant on-site with a variety of tasty "home-cooked" food. Our cabin #6 was roomy with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room with fridge, and front and back porches with deck chairs for relaxing. It... more

I first saw Brookside Cabins close to 10 years ago, when the man who is now my husband took me there for lunch. Last year we visited the cabins themselves, with the bubbling brook just behind them, and explored #5--I fell in love! The little covered deck overlooking the creek was too perfect...so this year, as a kind of extended... more

My husband arranged for us to go to Brookside the weekend of our one year anniversary. He booked cabin #7. When you first arrive (before entering your cabin), it appears as if you're right on the highway. However, upon entering the cabin, you're in your own private getaway! These 'cabins' are not roughing it, by any means. It was furnished... more

After booking a trip to the Poconos last year and being terribly disappointed with the cabins, I was hesitant to book another cabin without actually seeing it. After reading the reviews, I figured why not. My husband and I stayed in Cabin #1 (honeymoon suite with a deck overlooking the brook) and brought along his cousin and cousin's girlfriend who... more

Very quaint cabin setting right off the highway. Out the front door and into your car for the long trip, however, once inside the cabin you feel like your a hundred miles from the road. I recommend Cabin #1 or 2 for couples (hot tub~ bigger cabin with deck). #1 probably has the more private deck of the two. Cabin... more

We just returned a few days ago from our vacation. We had stayed at a few other places before finally arriving in Luray. I was hoping the cabins would be nice & updated based on the Triple A rating and these reviews and the few pictures they provided. When I got there I was very pleasantly surprised at how gorgeous... more

We didn't STAY here but we wished we had. We spend lots of time at the restaurant. They were super friendly and we enjoyed the food. Next time, this is a must! more

Wonderful place to get away from it all. The cabins are tastefully furnished and the grounds are nicely landscaped. It has become our favorite spot to stay. more
