This isn't a fabulous place for the money, but it is nice enough. The people who work there are very friendly. The attached greasy spoon is kind of cute for breakfast. The setting is pretty. After reading all the reviews online my girlfriend and I decided to go to Brookside Cabins in Lurary VA, we selected Cabin #7 because it has a jacuzzi tub. Unfortunately the jacuzzi tub only looks clean on the surface, but when we tried running it, dirt was coming out of the jets. It was a complete waste of money. more

Brought friends and family with us this time and everyone enjoyed their stay. Cabin #8 is great, roomy, comfortable, beautiful view over babbling brook. The staff is wonderful, friendly and accommodating. Good food and great service in the restaurant. more

We will be going back. Stayed in cabin #3 and enjoyed our stay in spite of the rain. Played cards, read, saw a movie in Luray. We were going to try hiking in Shenandoah but we are not ones to hike in big rains :) We will definitely be back with family! more

My husband and I stayed in Cabin #9 for a weekend getaway. This was our second stay at the brookside cabins. We had an amazing time. Loved, loved, loved cabin nine. The cabin and back deck were huge. And the bed was very comfortable. Can't wait to go back again. more

The cabin in which we stayed (#1) was perfectly appointed and reasonably priced for the accomodation. Our rear deck overlooked a small brook that you could hear.
