We went for the "Romance Package" weekend and left with a dozen red roses, big smiles, and joyful memories. In the living room, they have a plaque that says something like, "I love to get away and do absolutely nothing, then rest afterwards"----that's exactly what we did on our lazy Saturday, enjoying the April sun and the beautiful views, and... This was my first stay at a bed and breakfast and it couldn’t have been more enjoyable. If you are looking for relaxation and comfort, Piney Hill’s B&B is the place to go. From the extremely clean and comfortable rooms to the delicious breakfast everything is top-notch. The view from the house is spectacular and begs you to sit under... More

Our two days at Piney Hill were very relaxing and peaceful. Hank and Wiley go the extra mile to make sure that their guests are comfortable. We would recommend this wonderful place to those who are looking for a quiet weekend of solitude. We look forward to our next visit!

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful recent stay at Piney Hill. Hank and Wiley were extremely hospitable. The Rosebud Cottage was very romantic and private, and the breakfast served in a picnic basket and delivered to our door was delicious! We highly recommend a stay at Piney Hill. We are definitely heading back there for another weekend get-away.

We wanted a quick get-away weekend to hike and relax in the valley. We consider ourselves very lucky to have found Piney Hill Bed & Breakfast. It is a wonderfully cosy home nestled in the valley thoroughly surrounded by pastoral views of neighboring farms and panoramic views of the mountains. The hiking trails are minutes away. The house is grand.... More

Upon arriving at Piney Hill for our 20th anniversary weekend, we were greeted by our two friendly & gracious hosts: Hank & Wiley. Then I noticed the plate of homemade chocolate chip cookies on the kitchen counter & thought, "How can it get any better than this?" We found out when they took us to the Rosebud Cottage. What an... I've stayed at a lot of B&Bs in the US and Europe, and Piney Hill is one, if not the best I've ever visited. Extremely friendly owners, who make you feel like you are right at home. Highly recommend for the couple looking for a nice quiet weekend away from the hectic city life or a romantic getaway. Wonderful central... More

Our anniversary stay at Piney Hill Bed & Breafast in Luray, Virginia was wonderful! The Innkeepers attention to detail was just perfect at all times. The setting of the old farmhouse with the back drop of the mountainous landscape was beautiful. We were always made to feel welcome, comfortable and a little spoiled.

This was our second romantic getaway vacation at Piney Hill B & B, and we would never coose another place to stay in the Shenandoah Valley. We stayed in the Rosebud cottage this time and it was so nice to wake up in the morning with an amazing breakfast on the porch in a cute picnic basket. The view from... More

I wanted to surprise my fiance, and with neither of us having stayed at a B&B before, I thought I'd give it a shot. I googled B&B's in the Shenandoah Valley, and after reviewing a few, decided to give Piney Hill a call. I cannot say enough nice words about Hank & Wiley and their amazing home. After being warmly...
