I rented this cottage for my daughter and new son n law for a honeymoon retreat and they loved every minute of their stay. The Inn Keepers were fantastic and was told the country breakfasts were the best they had ever had. The views were breathtaking and they were truly able to relax after all the stress of the wedding!... More

This place was amazing! Peaceful and picturesque. (I almost hesitate to write a review, as I'd like to keep The Cottage a secret.) Betsy was a joy to talk with and very considerate. Breakfast for the next day was delivered the evening before, so we could bake it at our leisure in the morning; no "Breakfast is served from 7-9.... More

We arrive to beautiful fresh flowers and happy faces! The breakfasts were so good everything was amazing it's just a shame we couldn't stay longer, but we will be back! They gave us so many options to do, even people in town were so nice! I highly recommend

If you want a down-to-earth, peaceful place with gorgeous views, you’ll like it here. The cottage is small, comfortable, and well-equipped. When you rent this cottage, the innkeepers do live in a house next door, but otherwise it’s just you – there are no other cottages or rooms on the property. Which is great for privacy. There are stunning views... More

We stayed one night at the Cottage at Ravens Roost Farm, on a recent road trip through the area. Betsy and Edgar have created a perfect space to relax and enjoy the countryside. We enjoyed roasting s'mores in the fire pit under the stars, accompanied by the cats! We hope to be back again on a future trip!

The Cottage is amazing-- private, peaceful, well-appointed with anything you may need during your stay, and run by a wonderful, kind, warm, fun couple. The hot tub is tucked away, perfect for soaking in during a rain storm. The breakfast (left in your fridge for you to bake at your leisure) is gourmet. The animals are adorable. It was heaven... My boyfriend and I spent a weekend in the cottage for my birthday. We live in the DC metro area and were looking for a relaxing weekend away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We've stayed in Luray before and really love the area. We had three goals for the weekend - relaxation, hiking, and skydiving! All three... More

Great relaxing getaway for a few days away from kids. Cottage was very relaxing, farm was great. Horses, cattle, and barn cats always joined us for our evenings around the fire pit. Breakfast was awesome every morning, Betsy and Edgar were wonderful hosts. Great area for wine tours, and the distillery in Sperryville. Bed was firm and comfortable, and good... More

There are so many positive things to say about this place! The cottage is beautiful, cozy, romantic, fully equipped with everything you would need and with a perfect view of the sunset and the rolling fields beyond. The hot tub and fire pit just make it all the more special. If you are looking for a romantic break, you have... More
