Great relaxing getaway for a few days away from kids. Cottage was very relaxing, farm was great. Horses, cattle, and barn cats always joined us for our evenings around the fire pit. Breakfast was awesome every morning, Betsy and Edgar were wonderful hosts. Great area for wine tours, and the distillery in Sperryville. Bed was firm and comfortable, and good... More

There are so many positive things to say about this place! The cottage is beautiful, cozy, romantic, fully equipped with everything you would need and with a perfect view of the sunset and the rolling fields beyond. The hot tub and fire pit just make it all the more special. If you are looking for a romantic break, you have... More

BY FAR THE BEST BIRTHDAY WEEKEND EVER!!! The cottage was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. It had everything we needed and close to main street Luray as well as the caverns. Breakfast was great and the owners Ed and Bettsy were incredibly nice and fun to talk with. The property was beautiful with mountain views and horses outside our window... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights and loved it! It was the perfect place to relax. The views were beautiful and the cottage cozy-- it had everything we needed. The location is very convenient to Shenandoah National Park and just a few minutes from downtown Luray. We hope to be back again!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights in late September for our five year anniversary. The cottage and grounds are beautiful. It's situated behind the owner's house and each morning we were able to look out the cottage windows and see the horses right outside. The cottage is very spacious and well stocked with tea, coffee, hot chocolate,... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Raven's Roost for two nights and had a perfect weekend! We arrived late Friday night but Betsy and Ed were great, and still gave us a short tour of the cottage and let us know how everything was set up. They provided us with a book of activities and restaurants around Luray which was... More

My husband and I spent our first anniversary weekend in Luray and stayed at Ravens Roost for two nights. The cottage was perfect. We enjoyed the mountain scenery, the delicious breakfasts, and visiting over the fence with their four horses. Highly recommended for a peaceful get away.

The only place I've ever stayed where I was able to totally unwind overnight. The horses give kisses and the scenery is beautiful. Breakfast was yummy and the owners are wonderful people. We loved it so much we are returning in October for a couple more nights. (If you get a chance - also highly recommend the Purple Door for... More

We had a great stay in the cottage. You have all you need. The breakfast is super. Every night brings betsey your breakfast for the next morning. Every morning was a big surpise. The cottage has a beautiful view. We were ther in july and it was very hot. So we sit inside where it was cool.
