My wife and I came to country waye for our first trip in our new travel trailer several years ago. Since then, we've tried to come back once a year since the campground is very nice. The only real problem is the price ($59/night in off season. There aren't a whole lot of differences that justify the steep increase in... More

Great campground! Large sites for RV's with concrete pads and a beautiful setting. The deluxe sites are very nice too. Full hook-up, no cable. WIFI is provided. Very helpful and friendly staff. Small resort but perfectly located. Minutes off of the Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah National Park. Amazingly beautiful. Bath house and laundry facilities are extremely clean. This was... More

We were here last July. Loved the location. We stayed in a pull-threw that was nice, but wifi was really bad. This time we have a back in close to the laundry. GREAT wifi...Best so far at any campground. Lots of nice shops in town & many places to eat.

My husband and I camped her in the second weekend of September and were very pleased with our site and the bathhouse. This time of year is was 95% large motorhomes and fifth wheels in the campground, and many sites that looked like RV's were there for the season. Our site on the ridge provided a beautiful view and there... More

Throughly enjoyed our time at this campground. The sites are large and well layed out. All of the sites have full hookups, with many having patios and all have fire pits. While on the small side, only about 75 or so RV sites, it is well maintained and managed. The staff is friendly, the views of the surrounding hills and... More

We stayed here for 9 days in July and had a great time. We were part of a large group and had use of the Yurt in the corner. That was a nice touch for our large group. The spaces are really nice with concrete patios, patio furniture and even cushions for the chair. Then each site has a pair... More

Clean campground with lots to do. Sites are large, pool is a nice amenity, bathrooms are clean, staff is great! Staff members Ruth and Shelby are awesome and friendly. Beautiful surroundings! We've been twice and will stay again!

My husband and I recently spent four nights/five days in our travel trailer at this campground. We were pleasantly surprized by how beautiful this place is. The grounds are immaculate. We had a view from our campsite of the moutains and there was a herd of sheep just below us, grazing. We used this campground as our base while we... More

Sheltered in the scenic Shenandoah Valley just north of Luray, VA, this KOA campground is one of the loveliest we've encountered. The sites (rv, trailer, tent), are well laid out and spacious and surround a large common area. The grounds are well maintained as is the bath house. It has a nice pool and for dog lovers, a large, fenced-in... More

I only had the pleasure of staying here for 3 days but it was absolutely beautiful! The view was amazing. Grounds were extremely well kept. Our spot had a stone patio with a glass table and metal chairs, and the second stone patio down in the grass also had a couple of chairs and a built in fire ring and... More
