We live in a "historic country" area of northern VA, although, on the edge of the hustle & bustle of the suburbs. After enjoying a few nights at Country Waye Luray in our Motor Home, we contracted a spot for the entire season and bought a new travel trailer to leave there. We did not go there for the purpose... This KOA sits atop a hill will beautiful vistas. The sites are all very well maintained. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. Great bathrooms, friendly staff and wonderful dog park. We would stay here again!

It's a KOA so we didn't expect much. You must know when you read this review, we camped here in November, last few days it's open and I've just graduated from tent camping to "mostly off the grid Boler" camping so we're used to looking for the ultimate quite. This place is away from noisy highways (ok you can hear... More

Very neat & clean RV park & campground. In the midst of surrounding farms. Private, level, easily accessible sites. Tent sites & yurts as well. Lots of trees and grass; very pleasant. Minutes to Skyline Drive and Luray Caverns. Poor wifi. No cable.

Stayed here two nights in October. Everything was very clean and well cared for, I've stayed in hotels with less nice showers. Got a deluxe tent site and was definitely worth a little extra, light, phone charging station, picnic table and tent area up on higher pads.

Pastoral surroundings of farm lands and mountain views while on way up north with RV. Sites wide and clean. Utilities worked great. Easy to pull through and set up. Nice to relax with these views. There was a pool but required a walk down the hill. Same as the dog park which looked large, clean and shaded but was down... More

The KOA sits in an area close to anything and everything needed. The Luray Caverns, Shenandoah National Park, tubing, canoeing, kayaking or historical civil war sites are so close!! The KOA has full hook-ups and large sites. There is a club house, small playground, outdoor pingpong, volleyball and every site has a fire ring. The campsites are built around a... More

We had a nice site on the top of a hill, overlooking the tent area and a farm. Very open views of the mountains made for a great sunset and sunrise. A view of the southern sky was good for star gazing. Each RV site had gravel spaces, with room on the grass for tents, and a picnic table and... More

This campground was a pleasure to stay at. We had a deluxe site for handicap. It had plenty of space. A nice table and chairs on a concrete patio, and two chairs by a fire pit. The place was very clean. The showers were great as well. They are doing upgrading around the pool. It looks very nice. It is... More
