I was hoping to return from a wonderful stay at the Victorian Inn, and to write an elaborate review about how wonderful the stay was. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed by the overall service at the Victorian Inn. Quite simply, our visit lacked finesse and quality service. Upon arriving at 3:00 pm (which was agreed upon at the time I... More

The Victorian Inn Shenandoah Kitchen is the best in the area. We stayed the night in the Turret Suite, it is unlike any place the two of us have seen! The restaurant staff took us to our room and we had a little get away.... They offered live music outside, free of charge! Previous "Is this a joke?" Our response... More

Rooms are designed well but slightly aged. Service is understaffed but friendly. Breakfast is a fixed menu that could leave you wanting more. You can hear your neighbors and vice versa. The jacuzzi is amazing. Location is cool but on Luray'a main st so not great if you want remote.

I had a chance to revisit The Victorian Inn under the new management/chef/owner. He comes to the turnstile known as the Victorian Inn. Once a very nice "family" Inn and humble restaurant that has changed hands so many times as it has changed seasons. Now a new neon "OPEN" sign and big banner out front saying we are open half... We recently stayed at Treetop Escape, managed by Woodruff Inns of Luray, Virginia on our visit to Shenendoah National Park. The cabin is very close to the Shenandoah River and about 9 miles from the Park. It is about 4 miles from the town of Luray and hard to find the first time. Plan to arrive during the daylight hours!... More

Took a trip out for an anniversary weekend, and was looking forward to a great trip because overall the place had great reviews. The issues- -VERY musty smelling room. Sort of junky tile floors with a few rugs covering up some spots. Hair in the bathtub, along with a large spider that kind of creeped my wife out. Doesn't really... More

My husband was in town on business, and I tagged along to see the area. We thoroughly enjoyed the Victorian Inn. It has restaurant/bar/lounge area on first floor and 3 suites on the second floor. It is a beautiful old Victorian building! We stayed in the Turret Suite and thoroughly enjoyed it. This room has the jacuzzi tub in the... More

Our plan to explore Luray, VA attractions continued as we visited Shenandoah National Park and Shenandoah River. We enjoyed a lot and impressed with the town and its natural landscapes. We stayed at Woodruff Inns and chose Sky view Cabin and my decision proved very right and my girl friend was so much happy and the cabin had all the... More

It was important day for my wife and me as it was her 35th Birthday so I decided to give her surprise and I landed in Luray, VA the city I like the most. After reading reviews about Woodruff Inns I was really excited to celebrate this day here. The manager of the inn showed me our room and it... More

Stayed one night with my wife after a wonderful meal at the restaurant. The meal was great, but be careful as the restaurant owners are leaving in 3 weeks. As for the B&B, the building is charming and well kept. Our room was clean but quirky: it had a huge bathroom with huge hottub, a sitting room with the world's... More
