We spent the day sightseeing in Shenandoah National Park and the hotel was less than 10 miles from Skyline Drive. The price was reasonable and we found the employees helpful, they offered a 1st floor room to my elderly parents without us asking, after first putting them on the 2nd floor.Definitely would stay there again. more

On the way back from Smith Mountain Lake, we decided to stay at the Days Inn Luray. It was a last-minute deal we found while driving back home. Probably wouldn't have thought to stay there otherwise. The room was cleaner than expected - especially for a hotel on the side of a highway. Everything worked with no funky odors or... more

This Day's Inn is one of the nicest I've stayed at so far. It is located along a quiet stretch of highway, backing a vast green field (fresh air!). Stayed in R104 for one night and paid $85. Katie at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The mattress was firm (my husband thought it was a bit saggy... more

We had dropped our daughter off in Harrisonburg for college, and did not elect to stay there. Stopped at Luray Caverns about 6:30 in the evening. A great time to go there, no crowds and very peaceful. We stopped at the Days Inn because it was clear there was no place else to go. The desk clerk was friendly and... more

Stayed here for 3 nights in August. This is a very reasonably priced place to stay in Luray. The rooms are average sized for motel, and ours was clean and well placed. There were bugs outside our room, but we never found any inside, so they didn't bother us. The outdoor pool was really lovely, and gave us the opportunity... more

Great spot to stay (there are not very many to choose from). We drove in for one night to do the caves in the morning so it served us well. Great rates, rooms a bit outdated but for the price it didn't bother us. Front desk was very helpful and friendly. Perfect spot if you want to get some sleep. more

The staff was very friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. Those are the most important things. The place does seem pretty old, and has a definite motel feel. The furnishings in our room were actually pretty modern and appeared to be new. I don't know if that's the case in all rooms, so you might want to ask.... more

There aren't many hotel/motel options available near the Luray Caverns. This place was easy to find and offered what we needed. The facitliy is old and worn but not dirty. The pool was nice, the breakfast was good and they had a PC in the lobby to use. There wasn't much close for eating but the staff was very helpful... more

I really can't understand the positive reviews here, unless other people's standards are much lower than mine. I had requested a room with a view, which we did receive on the back side of the motel. There were some suspicious looking characters playing volleyball just outside our room as well as people sitting at the picnic area drinking alcohol. I... more

Room was clean, but breakfast area was untidy, not much choice. Person in charge of breakfast was to busy talking to keep area clean, clean up spills, and barrel in area was very dirty. Would probably check out one of the other hotels, if we were in the area again. more
