The only thing good about the motel was the closest to the caverns and our room had a nice view. The room was outdated and not very clean. No fridge or microwave. The shower is really small. We were the only people there for the first night which was kinda scary. Gave a Bates Motel vibe. The beds were uncomfortable... More

This place was allright for an overnight stay. Certainly nothing fancy. There was some noise from the highway at night. The view is of a small hill, not mountains. It is right across the street from the caverns so there was easy access.

I was looking forward to visiting Luray and the historical Luray Caverns. Had three night reservations but only stayed one night. Thought the Luray Caverns Motel was owned by the caverns, but there is no way that could be. The motel was outdated. Beds were uncomfortable . Felt very dirty(ish). The staff was friendly but whom ever cleans need to... More

We decided to stay here as it looked quaint and thought it would be a cool adventure. Sadly it was the most disgusting motel we have ever stayed in. The rooms are very old, which is fine, but they had plywood covering the door's window, which was not good. The walls are thin and we heard everything around us. People... More

We checked in around 9pm, and were greeted by Cindy, who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The room is certainly nothing fancy, but it serves the purpose of a place to sleep for one night. Basically the decor of your grandmother's house, with cheaper towels and no fitted sheets. All in all, for the price and the... More

We stayed at Luray Caverns Motel East but were upgraded to the 3 bedroom apartment for no extra charge when I called about a refrigerator for the 2 rooms we had booked. The apartment was older because it was part of the original house. The office is now in the front of the house. It has steps to climb to... More

Had an all-around great experience. From making the reservation, Amanda was friendly and extremely helpful. To checking in, Cindy called to make sure we were doing ok on the way in and waited for us even though we arrived several hours later than planned. The room and grounds were just as decribed. It's not a resort but would say it's... More

This is not a place if you are looking to be waited on hand and foot. But, if you want comfy, feeling of home, and friendly people, this is the place. Several friends and I spend about a week here. Place is biker friendly. Cabins and hotel rooms. Rustic and quaint. A special thanks to Amanda and Dwight for making... More

Friendly staff, big rooms that are clean, cable TV, quiet, comfortable beds. If you're looking for fancy, its not. If you're looking for good value, it definitely is. Not sure about the person who said there were bugs- we certainly didn't have any in our rooms

When traveling, we often find ourselves having fun til the last minute then looking for a hotel/motel at the end of a very busy day. The staff here were very friendly and accommodated us with a large, clean room with a gorgeous view of the mountains in the morning. The price was affordable as well.
