A really nice Motel, a bit dated but that added to the charm, excellent views, very friendly reception lady who made us welcome, room was perfect and comfortable, excellent wifi, only minor complaint there was lots of cobwebs around the window frame and a few tiny spiders, just need a vacuum, overall an excellent stay wish we had been staying... The room was not fancy by any means. The motel is old and its wear is showing, but for us it was acceptable. We stayed in 2 rooms that were connected giving us lots of room to spread out. The rooms however are spacious enough by themselves, but there were seven of us so the 2 rooms were a necessity.... More

We stayed on Luray Cavern East motel Apartment facility on Memorial day weekend. We are two families and the stay was very comfortable. Its an apartment with 3 bed kitchen and a living room. Remember to carry some basic utensils as non provided. One downside is its having only 1 bathroom. Initial i was very reluctant to book this as... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night while visiting the caverns and Shenandoah National Park. I was nervous because of some of the reviews but we decided to give it a try. If you're considering staying here, be real: this is a motel. It's not anything fancy, it's quite outdated, and the beds aren't anything amazing- but that's... More

We had to stop by the local wallmart to buy flip flops, air freshener and clean blankets to survive a night in this old stinky room. We made a reservation for 2 nights but only survived one there.....

The only thing good about the motel was the closest to the caverns and our room had a nice view. The room was outdated and not very clean. No fridge or microwave. The shower is really small. We were the only people there for the first night which was kinda scary. Gave a Bates Motel vibe. The beds were uncomfortable... More

This place was allright for an overnight stay. Certainly nothing fancy. There was some noise from the highway at night. The view is of a small hill, not mountains. It is right across the street from the caverns so there was easy access.

I was looking forward to visiting Luray and the historical Luray Caverns. Had three night reservations but only stayed one night. Thought the Luray Caverns Motel was owned by the caverns, but there is no way that could be. The motel was outdated. Beds were uncomfortable . Felt very dirty(ish). The staff was friendly but whom ever cleans need to... More

We decided to stay here as it looked quaint and thought it would be a cool adventure. Sadly it was the most disgusting motel we have ever stayed in. The rooms are very old, which is fine, but they had plywood covering the door's window, which was not good. The walls are thin and we heard everything around us. People... More

We checked in around 9pm, and were greeted by Cindy, who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The room is certainly nothing fancy, but it serves the purpose of a place to sleep for one night. Basically the decor of your grandmother's house, with cheaper towels and no fitted sheets. All in all, for the price and the... More
