there were bugs everywhere in our hotel room. We counted at least a dozen. We will never come back! the lady at the front desk was nice, but didn't offer us any rebates for the one night we had stayed. We ended up checking out and checking into the Best Western down the street.

A clean and simple place to stay smack dab in the middle of one of God's greatest creations! The staff is extremely helpful and friendly - we loved talking with Amanda!!! The scenery and location can't be beat. Nothing fancy here - but why would you want fancy when all you have to do is walk outdoors and enjoy the... More

The service was great, room was clean but they need update. It is located about two minutes away from the Caves and five minutes from grocery stores/restaurants. I definitely recommended for a one night stay when you are just going to sleep.

This was our third time staying in the East motel, and again, we had a good time. We stayed on a Sunday night, so it was an easy walk over to the Singing Tower for the bell concert, which we always enjoy. The staff is always friendly. We also got a roll away cot, but my 6 foot, 225 lb... More

My husband found this motel thru Caverns website. Although it is "dated" as other people mentioned, it is also a motel built to last. Out of many hotels we stay at, this is the ONLY ONE that we heard nothing , staying 2 nights . Our travelers on either side of us were college kids and a family with 2... More

We had first called the other name brand hotels in the area to find they were booked solid. So we came upon the Luray Caverns Motel and decided to give it a shot. Its a throw back in time which was as expected. Old style motel that appeared to have had modest renovations in last ten years or so. Air... More

WE stayed at the caverns motel East for one night because of its location and the pool, which was of adequate size, fairly clean and open til 10 PM, although there was no gate to close it with anyhow. Because of some bad reviews, I asked to see the room first, and I was given the key to room 7... More

My fiance and I went to Luray to see the caverns and Skyline Drive for our anniversary last month and we could not have been happier with the motel. It's cottage feel was cozy. The room was abnormally large with a walkin closet and small but adequate bathroom. Our view of the mountains from our large portrait window was breathtaking.... More
