This hotel was a very good value. It was very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was above average and everyone was really enjoying the self-service wafflesm along with a variety of bagels, muffins, cake, cereals and fruits. The dining area has tables indoors and outdoors. There is a play area with swings, basketball courts, etc. The pool and small hot... More

This was the absolute worst place I stayed during a weeklong trip through California - and one of the worst places I've stayed in - EVER! The room smelled awful - stale or mildewey - the moment I opened the door. There were flies buzzing around the room. The towels were the thin worn rags - and they use the... More

This is really a nice place to stay visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park. The owner/manager and his staff go the extra mile in making you comfortable. They are friendly, courteous and very helpful. There was no problem with our stay. We stayed for 6 nights. The location is very good and prices are reasonable. This hotel was under... More

My wife and I stayed one night and were perfectly happy with the spacious room. The owner was friendly and provided a better-than-normal inclusive Continental breakfast. Pool area was clean and provided a nice spot at which to eat the breakfast. For dinner, there is a quaint restaurant with good food at reasonable prices about 5 mins walk away. One... More

This motel is about 30 - 45 minutes from the heart of Sequoia National Park. The motel is older and could use some updating. The owner was very friendly and they had a nice breakfast including cereals, breads and waffles. It was not the cleanest place we have ever stayed but it was not the worst by any stretch. It... More

We stayed for one night at this hotel near Sequoia National forest. It was not up to the standards that I expect from a Best Western Hotel. The toilet and shower area was very tiny, virtually impossible to get dressed in. This can be a problem when traveling with children, which we were. There was no type of ventilation in... More

What I did like about the hotel was the free wireless internet and the laundry. The rooms were ok, bathroom was old and plastic was missing from the toilet handle and the shower rod. There were lots of fruit flies (many dead on the curtain), probably because of the proximity of the dam. The coffeemaker wouldn't work at all so... More

I paid $100.09 for a one night stay, reservation was made 3 months in advance through best western wedsite. The picture on the web made it look much better than it really was. First, there was piles of old carpet next to the dumpster. It looked like it had been there for a while. The first thing I did was... More

Where to begin? Well, we ended up here out of desperation. My excuse is that it was Tuesday before a holiday weekend and we really, really wanted to go hiking in Sequoia and I really, really did not want to camp. I should have camped. When we checked in on Friday at noon we were told that the check in... More

This was the worst value hotel we stayed in on our recent Californian holiday. You get the impression that they are relying solely on their position just outside of the National Park to keep people coming. Otherwise they do just the minimum. The room was one of the most expensive in the new wing. It was a good size but... More
