Spent 1 night there on our way to sequoia national forest. Its rather expensive if compared to other motels of this class; you pay for the location. The room was clean, which I think is most important,so nothing to complain there. The interior is a bit outdated but misses the charm these things can sometimes have. The WiFi doesn't reach... More

The rooms are spacious and clean. Apart from the light in the hallway, everything worked as it should. Towels were fresh and clean, but the pressure in the shower was quite low. Breakfast was basic. Bread, cereals, make-your-own waffles. If it wasn't for fresh fruits, it would basically be just flour products + juice. :-) There's a swimming pool, we... More

This was fine for one night for me and my dog. But the room was hot and it felt like it could use a good clean. The breakfast area the next day was disgusting. And they called my room at 8am to tell me they "forgot" to charge me a pet fee. Wow, very welcoming especially when I arrived after... More

Tired .......tending towards being run down. For example the showers just need some decent shower heads..... But through tripadvisor we knew what this lodging was like, and it very adequately addressed our needs. Good feed a mile or so along the road at a caravan/ restaurant called buckaroo.... If going to the national park, check and get chains before going... More

Undeniably tired and in need of a lick of paint, we were very pleasantly surprised when we went into our room. It was very spacious and clean, and so served our purposes very well by being so convenient for Sequioa park. We were particularly impressed by the young woman at the reception desk during the evening, who gave us lots... More

We were welcomed by the owners of this place and we were rewarded an upgrade to a double queen bed room. The room was massive and equipped whit the esential thing for sleeping: a very good bed. The rooms were very clean and well equipped with additional needs. The wifi was slightly slow. But who does need wifi for more... More

The location was ideal - just 5 or 6 miles from the entrance to Sequoia National Park. The hotel is in a quiet village, with the mountains in the background. The staff were helpful. Rooms were dated but great value for money considering how cheap it was. It was clean and spacious and fine for one night to visit Sequoia.... More

Saw mixed reviews about this place, but after staying for two nights we had a great time. Hotel is an excellent value for what you get. Close to Sequoia National Park (1hr to the Sherman Tree on a beautiful mountain drive). Breakfast included 7-9am with waffles (tip: come early before it gets busy). Nice restaurants (check out the cider mill),... More

Location of the place is wonderful on the edge of the national parc and it has a nice ambiance of hiker's lodging. However, it doesn't make up for the lack of hygiene nor the less than impressive breakfast. Charging 10$ for bug spray in the office, when the room was filled with bugs when we arrived is just cheap. I... More

The front desk staff did the best with what they had. They had no information or recommendation on nearby attractions like local maps. Nickle and dime you on printing boarding etc. Internet connection was slow, TV was old and the picture was pink. Breakfast was not work spending time, it was average at the best. Housekeeping did the best with... More
