The location was ideal - just 5 or 6 miles from the entrance to Sequoia National Park. The hotel is in a quiet village, with the mountains in the background. The staff were helpful. Rooms were dated but great value for money considering how cheap it was. It was clean and spacious and fine for one night to visit Sequoia.... More

Saw mixed reviews about this place, but after staying for two nights we had a great time. Hotel is an excellent value for what you get. Close to Sequoia National Park (1hr to the Sherman Tree on a beautiful mountain drive). Breakfast included 7-9am with waffles (tip: come early before it gets busy). Nice restaurants (check out the cider mill),... More

Location of the place is wonderful on the edge of the national parc and it has a nice ambiance of hiker's lodging. However, it doesn't make up for the lack of hygiene nor the less than impressive breakfast. Charging 10$ for bug spray in the office, when the room was filled with bugs when we arrived is just cheap. I... More

The front desk staff did the best with what they had. They had no information or recommendation on nearby attractions like local maps. Nickle and dime you on printing boarding etc. Internet connection was slow, TV was old and the picture was pink. Breakfast was not work spending time, it was average at the best. Housekeeping did the best with... More

We stayed here Saturday night then checked out the following morning. I love that they incorporate family setting into their lodge. They got basketball court, playground, and swimming pool. It has a mountain view. They have patio on every room where you can see stars at night. The rooms are bigger than Vegas hotel rooms. There kitchen in every room.... More

This town is just lovely, inmidst the beautiful countryside and the mountains its a real retreat. The hotel was our base to explore the Sequoia-Nationalpark und Kings-Canyon-Nationalpark. The hotel itself is a typical modern motel, the rooms are big each with a small patio with deck chairs. They also have a pool and a whirlpool, which we never tried out... More

I really liked this peaceful place. We stayed here for a night with our little dog. The lodge is situated in a beautiful meadow with an abutment to the river. Our room was larger than most motel rooms, with a microwave, fridge and coffee-maker. We had stayed the previous nights in motels that were grubby and noisy -- but not... More

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Sequoia and the local area. The room was clean and larger than most motels. Included breakfast was okay. Cold and hot cereal, muffins, juice, toast, coffee and tea. Heavy on carbs and no protein. They have an area with outdoor seating, basketball court, swings and horseshoe pits. The microwave and fridge were... More

Reception very friendly and helpful, checked in early and had a nice upper floor room which was huge. It is rustic but not worse than Wuksachi lodge which we paid 3-4 times more for. There are plenty of eating options a close car ride by. Also grocery and fuel. There was a small table, fridge microwave in the room and... More

We were there for 2 nights in early November, the rooms are exactly the same as the official photos and quite large. The outside area and the motel space are nice and green and quiet. The continental breakfast was OK. The most important thing is that the hotel is one of the nearest hotels to the enterance of the Sequoia.... More
