Although the owners were very helpful and friendly, once we got there we were very disappointed to see that the cabins sat right on the highway, just a couple of steps away from the traffic. We reserved 4 nights, left after 2, and lost our money for the last 2 nights because their reservation policy is 14 days, no exceptions.... More

This review has been posted by Maria Dicono of Glendale, California. She booked well in advance; was mailed a rental agreement with our terms, conditions, and amenities. She signed and returned her contract well in advance of her visit. She called with many questions which we patiently answered, truthfully. She called two weeks ahead saying that she needed to arrive... More

Reserved Sequoia House for late July on 4/6 and called back on 4/9 to change and rebook and charged $150 for CXL FEE. Called and talked to Jerry Harris, owner and he said that was the policy and refused to take the fee off. We had talked to wife, Laura when reservation was made and cancelled and she did not... More

This review violates TripAdvisor Guidelines as this person did not travel to this property. This family was planning a vacation to this area and we spent a lot of time with them over the telephone over a period of a few months answering all their questions about Sequoia National Park, our facilities, and helping to them to plan for their... Three Rivers is a long strung out town. The River Inn is right at the North Eastern End, almost at the park entrance. If you arrive in the dark, then keep going past the centre of town and follow the road for 3 more miles. We chose the River Inn because of the price and you get what you pay... More

We have a heart to try and give people some kind of food offering for breakfast when they stay in our Inn Rooms. We call it our "Breakfast in a Bag." It is juice, whole fruit, and a muffin. We tell people it is "just a small snack to get you started." We would love to be able to offer... More

My husband and I were going to Seqouia National Park and found this Inn and Cabins online. The cabin was a little small but was stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap, towels, the kitchen was stocked with appliances and all of the need dishes and utensils needed to cook. The cabin we stayed in had a private hot tub on the... More

We were happy with our stay: spacious, clean, airconditioned room, big bed, great location just a couple of minutes drive from the park entrance. Service at the front desk was quick and friendly and we got advice about where to eat. The Mexican restaurant they recommended was really good. Breakfast in a bag was ok (juice, fruit & cake) and... This review is solely for the Sequoia House (I haven't stayed at the Inn or the other cabins). I've spent two New Year Eves at this house already - wanted to return for a third, but, alas, it was booked. I came in a group of 8-10 people. The house is great - the beds are nice, the place is... More

Me and my fiance went to the River Inn and Cabins and stayed in the little cabin with its private jacuzzi. Not only was the jacuzzi fantastic and wonderfully secluded. It had its own little kitchen with refrigerator, stove, sink, microwave and all the fixings. It even had dish towels and cleaner for the dishes that THEY provided. It was... More

We had a perfectly lovely stay at the River Inn and Cabins. The proprietors were very helpful and gracious. They offered a wealth of information on things to see and do in the area. And the rooms were excellent. Highly recommended!

We stayed three nights in the hotel during Thanksgiving holidays. Overall the hotel is good but very basic; nothing extraordinary. The front desk person was friendly and very helpful and gave us a lot of information. The breakfast was a brown bag with fresh fruit, muffins and juice. Could have been better. The location is very convenient; it's located one... More

we stayed one night in the motel and found everything ok, the motel looks more seducing on picture then in reality, it is located next to the road and offers a well kept room for the night, the breakfast brought at the door in the morning is far to basic: no bread no juice, just a cookie and some fruit,...
