My wife and I have been frequenting the Buckeye Tree Lodge every year since the early nineties. It's across the road from the S-V Inn, right on the river, and our favorite getaway spot -- only 210 miles from LA, a 3.5-hour drive. This was the first time we came with friends and stayed in the cabins (Glacier). Fabulous, cozy,... More

People are funny here - they complain about the wires overhead and the lousy carpeting, and rickety toilet seat, and not wanting to cook in the cabin kitchens, etc. This isn't Aspen, for goodness' sake. Sequoia Village Inn is awesome. Every cabin is unique - my dog and I stayed in the smallest one but they come in all sizes... More

Our stay at the end of September was accompanied by 100F temperatures for the 2 night stay in Blossom cottage. The cottage was charmingly rustic with wood used throughout on the walls and ceiling. The airconditioner and ceiling fan worked very efficiently to cool the cottage after our late afternoon arrival and following a day in the Sequoia NP. The... More

Stayed only one night (that's all the time we had), and we plan to go back. Different cabins available. We stayed in the smallest, the Hummingbird. First impression was the cleanliness, the decor, and how much they did within a small space. Hummingbird is about 200 square feet, with a microwave, mini fridge, tableware, clear wood vaulted ceilings, shower. Very... More

Our stay in the Blossom cottage provided us with a warm, intimate space with everything we needed to base our adventures at Sequoia NP. A very comfortable bed and just enough kitchen to be self-sufficient, made it perfect for two. We enjoyed spending a quiet day in the cabin during the all-day rains on Oct 13; and were rewarded with... More

We enjoyed our stay in "The hummingbird" very much. So quiet with sun deck and vieuw on the pool. In the evening, you can watch the stars from the deck. Staff was very friendly and helpfull!

When I picked out this place it was based on the pictures which where great. Of course the location was great. The cabin sucked. Very old and non-functional toilet seat, we didn't feel like cooking in the kitchen either. The carpet was as good as dirt. They need to bring some of there cabins down and totally rebuild. I don't... More

My husband and I recently stayed at the Sequoia Villiage Inn which is associated with and across the road from the Buckeye Tree Lodge in Three Rivers, CA...a quarter of a mile from the entrance to Sequoia National Park. I really can't rave enough about our accomodations, from the friendly and extremely helpful staff to the attention to detail of... More

Stayed one night in Alta room which has the basics and is clean and a nice deck to sit out on. It has everything in the kitchen if you want to cook (we did not). Coffee beans are a nice touch. Bed was comfortable. Water didn't get hot in the shower. It is across the street from a nice restaurant... More

We stayed three nights and were extremely impressed with the quality of the room. The deck outside the cabin was perfect for enjoying coffee in the morning, plus they provided fresh beans and a grinder! Great air conditioning was appreciated when the outside temperature was 95'. Room was simple and tasteful with photos of Sequoia, and very clean. Lots of... More
