Our family normally camps in Sequoia/Kings Canyon but this year we had to do things differently. I found Sequoia Village Inn through Trip Advisor and I am so glad I did. We were just planning to stay in a hotel but decided to pay a little extra for a cabin. Boy am I glad we did. They only had Dogwood... more

Talk about relaxing! My husband, son and our best friend stayed for 3 nights and we did not want to leave. The chalet we were in was wonderful. The views spectacular. The girls in the office and the owners are the niceset most curtious people. They catered to our every need and they know what the meaning of a relaxing... more

Our trip arose out of an impulse to visit Sequoia National Park , a favorite place of my parents when my sister and I were children. Mother, now 94, was eager to see again the redwood trees and our old camping sites. Real disappointment was felt by all of us when we learned that my sister's beloved 'gentleman' poodle would... more

We stayed in Eagle cabin which is in the mountains and very private. The kitchenette was very convenient and we loved Bar-be-quing on the patio after a long day swimming or exploring in the park. There was unlimited phone calling and ice available across the street and a great restaurant if you like to eat out on the river. During... more

I don’t usually comment on these sites, but somebody brought my attention to a review of this motel because they knew I had stayed here. I thought that the accommodations were very nice. We stayed in one of the little cabins - I think it was called the Hummingbird. It was extremely pretty inside. I was able to use my... more

This place is a dump! Booked 3 nights in the Eagle cabin and left on the morning of the 2nd day. It was a dirty, cramped, highly over-priced, little cracker box. One of the previous reviewers mentioned that this "2 room suite" did not have a full height wall over the closet so essentially you were getting one room. Very... more

We stayed at the Dogwood for 2 nights with family. The place was very large and it served our needs. The beds were comfy (though ours squeaked everytime you moved). It was pretty clean and when we first got in we did have to kill a good amount of bugs. We had a wasp, a dozen or more flies in... more

We stayed for one night in the Eagle cabin. Staff was very friendly and helpful on check in. Cabin was small, but good enough for one night. Had kitchen, refrigerator and stove, and nice sitting area outside, and a pool about 50 yards away which was nice. The only complaint was the trundle beds in Eagle were totally shot. They... more
