Front office staff very nice and welcoming, from initial phone calls to the day of arrival. Actual room / suite was pretty dated, but overall seemed clean enough. Ample water bottles were provided (for free!) which was a nice bonus for the next day which we spent in Sequoia NP. Pool is small, but a lot of hotel pools are... More

I stayed here only one night and I thought it was pretty cute. Definitely not a luxury hotel, but if you're not high maintenance you'll be just fine. The room was clean and quiet. It is pretty close to the park entrance and a few restaurants, which is nice. About an hour drive to the Giant Forest and Moro Rock.... More

Let's start with the entrance. Entrance is one lane, uphill blind into the parking lot. Beware of other vehicles. Parking lot is tiny. A definite challenge when it comes to turning around so you can park. Room is below average. They have an old a/c installed through the wall which was very noisy. TV was a step back into the... More

Dirty: dust everywhere, cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. Bed relatively clean, but after I spotted the dirt in the corners of the room, I was afraid to look more closely. The receptionist - condescending with a suspicious attitude.

was a bad experience. The lady in the front desk was so nice, but the hotel is lost for nonexistent maintenance in the building. cobwebs on the ceiling and dead bugs in the washed hands. Dust everywhere, opaque the only clean in the room, sheets and towels. Breakfast is ridiculous, They serve it in the front desk and have no... More

My room was on 2nd floor no elevator narrow spiral staircase. That said my clean and comfortable with a view of the mountains. The breakfast consisted of pastries, fruit, juice, coffee and oatmeal which was good and it worked for me. The important things were clean, location, price and did I say location.

This is a cinderblock nightmare. Built and decorated in the '50s. $139 for two double (not queen) beds whose mattresses are at least 30 years old. From the duck border around the ceiling to the pink and yellow tile in the bathroom that features a three foot square bathtub this is a place to run away from.

From the highway this place looks really nice. The room however had a very 80's feel with an old TV and old decor, but there was a lot of room and it felt really cozy and clean. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee, tea and water were all included in the room which was nice. I can't remember the name of the lady... More

Last week I called to make a reservation. Michelle was very helpful and politely answered all of my questions. When we got to the lodge, we were treated like family. The room looked, smelled, and felt really clean. During breakfast we had an amazing view of the mountains, and the staff shared some really neat trails with us. If you're... More
