Just returned from 3 nights at the J. It is a beautiful property with rolling hills in the distance and friendly animals to feed and commune with. Absolutely no complaints. They were also very understanding when I requested a different room then I was originally assigned. I will def be back. Maybe with my dog next time! A tip~call or... More

This place is a bang for the buck. If you want a simple, quite place with friendly staff. This is the place to go. No complains at all. The owners have a stable with sheep. If you have small kids they will love it. This place is close to the park (I would guess about 10- 15 min drive to... More

We stayed at Lazy J last April for one night, we were 4 (2 adults and our two kids). The location is good, close to the entrance of Sequoia N.P. The rooms were clean and big. WiFi was also good. The girls at the reception was friendly, available and organized to give us indications for the dinner. If you will... More

We booked in advance. Price was great. Room was comfortable, spacious. Bed was great with lots of pillows(which I need). My husband, who does not sleep great away from home, slept great both nights. We had room 16, a duplex. There was a fireplace heater in the wall, very nice. Furnishings were older but clean and in good condition. There... More

We booked this hotel while passing by and could immediately enter our room in the morning. Friendly staff, quiet place, lush and green, lots of space for the kids to play, really nice pool and right behind our cabin there was a bunch of sheep and goats to feed and pet. Great, would definitely return.

Our trip to Sequoia was spontaneous. We origionally planned on camping, however since it was last minute and we left late we decided to stay at a in a hotel. Comfort Inn & Suties was sold out and they reffered us to Lazy J. It was a cute little ranch the rooms weren't as spacious as we would have liked... More

We throughly enjoyed our stay. Our cabin was clean and located in the back, very quiet and well taken care of. Our kids loved the animals and open areas to play. We relaxed by the pool, hiked along the river and loved the peaceful setting. We are looking forward to returning.

The place simply felt relaxed. It is a nice green envioronment. The layout of the cabins means you all look towards the green lawn in the centre, and you only share one wall, and that has a two bathrooms between you and the next room, so i didn't hear anything. Cheap laundry facilities also.

Our family of 6 stayed here in April and it was so quiet and peaceful. Not your average hotel. Ranch like setting right along the river. Our room was set towards the back of the property so we never had any "street noise." The staff was amazing and very helpful. My kids loved the animals on site and all the... More

Made the reservation on line after reading good reviews about the place. What a surprise & disaster! We were given a "2 suite" room which consisted of 2 tiny rooms side by side with an adjoining bathroom. It was older than the hills, not clean, terrible queen beds, a bathroom so small there was no place for any toiletries, a... More
