Our family stayed at the Lazy J during a trip to Sequoia National Forest. There is not much to choose from in Three Rivers, so beggars can't be choosers, but would be vacationers should know that this is a basic roadside motel. It was probably built in the 1960's or thereabouts. It is clean but very dated. Beds are well... More

Nice little collection of cottages and motel rooms around a great little pool. Clean and basic. Don't let the cheap prices scare you this is a clean well run family motel. Breakfast is VERY Basic Coffee and Rolls. It also is not open early. So if you are heading out in the morning just go and get breakfast on the... More

This was the perfect place to spend a few relaxing days with my family! My boys enjoyed the activities on site specially the pool and the goats/sheep. Our kitchen cottage was nice and clean. Good spot to spend the night when going to Sequoia. The owners were really nice too. We'll be coming back!

I remember spotting this last year when we stayed at another hotel and thinking how quaint it looked. It's not the Ritz in either quality or price. Having said that it was possibly the most relaxing atmosphere (and sleep) I've had during my three week stay in America. It is basic and somewhat "old" but if you're wanting to unwind....then... This place was very nice. We had a cottage room that included the kitchen. 2 queen beds and 2 single beds. Good for 6 people. We decided to get groceries and make dinner and breakfast the next day. We had a nice time. Everything was clean. No issues. There was a pool, but we didn't use it as we arrived... More

Checked in around 1 pm and our rooms were ready. We were in 13a and 14. Our kids loved the cabin type setup. The rooms were clean and the towels were very thick. After we were there for awhile and the AC was running we felt room 14 was musty and smelled a little of mold, okay for one night... More

We spent two comfortable nights here while enjoying Sequoia National Park. The staff was helpful getting us into our reservation a day early as we had to end our backpacking trip unexpectedly due to altitude/ weather problems. The property is older but mostly well maintained. The continental breakfast was mostly packaged pastries, but they did have a good amount of... More

Although the front desk clerk was nice and affable, it couldn't cover up the fact that the room/cabin was sub par. After coming back from dinner in Three Rivers, I discovered that my bed had no fitted sheet on the mattress. The other bed in the room had a sheet. I chalked it up to an over site on the... More

This was the perfect place to stay. Quiet, clean and so nice and comfy. Air conditioning, WiFi, breakfast, a nice pool and the cutest goats that my daughter just loved. Very friendly owners took the time to chat and tell us where was good to eat. we will definitely be back.

This reminds me of the motels from the past. They are cabin style rooms with some single cabins and some double adjoining cabins. The rooms are clean and set in a spacious setting with a central area containing an outdoor pool. Lots of grass areas and a net for volleyball or badminton. Children will like to visit the goats and... More
