I would like to revisit whenever possible for Sequoia travel in the future. It has small farm with animals, which my kids love to look at them. Close to the river and Sequoia National Park. Easy parking space. Affordable price and room with space. The furniture (sofa and chair) were little too worn-out not to support the weight.

Julie and Jason made me feel like one of the family. My little cabin (#18) was perfect for my 4 days of exploring the Giant Sequoias Park. Their quick response to any request was appreciated. The rooms are clean and have all the usual amenities. Lovely staff. Enjoyed the numerous wild birds and trails to the river. This is a... More

We stayed hear in early October 2015. The grounds are extensive. The surrounding area is open trees and brush. I saw a bear walking down to the river the first morning. Caution!, with the drought the bears are under great stress, do not approach! There are cabins and attached motel suites scattered around the grounds. We always like the old... More

Staff was friendly upon check-in. Place was very peaceful and the goats and sheep were cool and the kids got to feed and pet them. Room was pretty run down and beds were hard as a rock. For being a family owned place, you'd think they would be much friendlier, owners seemed too busy to care much about our visit.... More

We stayed here on our way to Sequoia National Park. It's just south of its entrance. It was very quiet at night, the room was clean, beds comfortable, we slept well. The breakfast only opens at 9 but we wanted to head out early so we skipped it. It's a quaint little place with a pool and some farm animals,... More

Desk cleric very friendly, knowlegeable of the area, very helpful in providing directions the pro and con which routes to take. Breakfast consist of oatmeal, danish, baguel bars, and the best are fresh fruits which come from local orchard in Visalia. They are ripe and sweet. Fruits are the highligt of the breakfast. The best is you can pick your... More

We stayed on our trip to the General Sherman Sequoia. The motel is quaint and clean. Our room was large with a refrigerator and microwave. We had television and decent free WiFi. The continental breakfast was critical muffins and fruit, juice and coffee. We've come to expect a little more but that's okay.

We stayed 1 night here between trips to Sequoia and Kings Canyon NPs. The rooms were simple but seemed clean enough. There are goats and other barnyard animals on the property that make the stay interesting. We had to get up early to go hiking so the room with 'breakfast' was not yet open, although we did find a place... More

We arrived late in the evening. The key was left at the door for us. That was nice. When we were brushing our teeth, I saw a flee jumping around the washing table! I know these little animals very well since we have a cat at home who sometimes has flees as well. The sheets were not that clean: a... More

Nothing fancy but clean and quiet. Friendly owners on site. Nice country ambiance. Liked the farm animals on site The only complaint was the air conditioner, it was on very cold and noisy or off. We were in Room 12.
