For the uninitiated, Three Rivers is south and about 15 miles outside of the Sequoia National Park. You have to drive up hill and there are lots of switchbacks that can make you carsick if sensitive to that kind of driving. Hence, driving back and forth after each days visit can be rather trying and tiring to say the least.... More

This is a lovely motel, rooms spread out around very pleasant outside space. Great to be able to sit outside. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable, staff very helpful and pleasant and the breakfast is usual basic motel fare, but there are other options nearby. overall it is a good value place to stay. However, it really depends what... More

This is a yearly thing. and this is where we stay. We could not have asked for better weather. Just sitting outside of the room, in the chairs provided. The rooms are small, but large enough. They are nothing fancy and don't need to be. This is a very laid back place . Very peaceful, even with the road right... More

We are in the middle of a 3 night stay here and are enjoying it so much I thought I would review early. Although older than some, it is much better than the usual motel marketed by this chain. The rooms (NON SMOKING) are of decent size and although a bit dated are quite pleasant, ours was spotlessly clean and... More

The room was clean and the linens were fresh. Stayed two nights. It was Very convient to both Sequoia and King's Canyon National Parks. The motel was very quiet. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Several good restaurants in the area.

This motel has a really nice setting with a swimming pool and parking right outside your door. The room was basic but comfortable and clean. You pickup breakfast from reception so it's not a sit down breakfast or anything special but works if you want something on the go. The windows just had blinds so you get the sunlight in... More

Lazy J is a quaint little place where the rooms are split up between a bunch of little single floor buildings. My friend and I really loved staying there. It was very relaxing, and the staff was super nice. They even have little goats you can go see. This is a great place to stay if you're visiting the Sequoias.... More

We came for 1 night and we wished we had more time to stay. Rooms are small, air conditioner was loud and not very efficient, breakfast was a "to-go" buffet located in the reception-house, doesn't sound brilliant, but this place is charmful. We had a great own-made dinner outside by the moonlight, between our unit and the swimming pool. Our... More

Stayed here one night board only - the choice for a place convenient for Sequoia is limited so I effectively picked this at random based on the fact it had a swimming pool and fell into my price category. Note the hotel is at the far east of the town Check-in was friendly and efficient - they supplied a wifi... More

We stayed in Cabin 2 mid-August 2014 and were very impressed! The place was spotless (as in, it would even have met my very picky mother's cleanliness standards!) and perfect for our visit. We were a group of 4 (senior, couple in their 40s and a child) who wanted to be near Mineral King for hiking. The sleeping arrangements accommodated... More
