We stayed at this motel for two nights whilst visiting Sequoia and had a very pleasant stay. We had one of the standard queen rooms, which was a good size, clean and comfortable. It was quite old-fashioned and rustic, but in a charming way! The owner, Chris, was extremely friendly and helpful throughout. There is also a really lovely pool... more

If you're looking for a comfortable motel about as close as you can get to the Sequoia National Park then this is an excellent choice. The owners are very friendly and helpful and overall we had an excellent 3-day stay. There is free wireless, coin laundry facilities and full cable tv. The air con worked well and the rooms were... more

We booked this motel because no others nearby would let us stay only 1 night on a saturday. We had 2 bed room.. We were really glad that we arrived late & only had to get up & go. Everything is old & the rooms have no coziness. However there is a pool & the owner is friendly & helpful,... more

Sequoia Motel is a great place to unwind, decompress and enjoy the redwoods, hiking, cold mountain streams, nature walks, and clean fresh air. Come as you are, drop-on-by, anytime. Chris and the gang are always home and would love to see you. This is a great vacation spot for all ages. I'm goin' back. Soon. Anon! more

We were a bit wary when we turned up and appeared to be the only customers. I couldn't actually see anything that looked like the photos on its website. The main part of the room was clean, neat and even had some books on the shelf left by previous visitors. However, the shower was badly in need of de-limescaling and... more

My friend and I both live in Las Vegas, and work in major strip hotel/ casinos for many years. We were not expecting a five star hotel by no means and regretted passing by the comfort inn after we checked out our rooms later that night after a long drive up the spectacular sequoia state park mountains. I can honestly... more

OK, first look at the prices per night and the location. This is a cheap place. So there are some small issues: WiFi only works in the vicinity of the office, the rooms are smaller than average, the AC can bearly handle the temperature. BUT i would definitely recommend the place. The owner is lovely, it is quiet, it is... more

My mother and I came to Three Rivers for a family gathering. We chose the Sequoia Motel on the recommendation of a friend and we were very pleasantly surprised. My friend said not to expect much but I really loved the place. We were greeted by Chris, the proprietor and she was very helpful and friendly. She gave us a... more

My wife and I spent a pleasant week at the inn along with other members of the Community Zoe photo group. It was our annual gathering. Chris and Tom are the innkeepers. They went above and beyond to be hospitable and accommodating to this diverse group. The inn is not fancy. But it is clean with nicely maintained gardens. It... more
