This a small, well kept, secluded park. Beautiful setting in the trees. Park does not have a pool but a wonderful swimming hole all year. Park very short distance from Sequoia National Park. Restaurants, horseback riding, national park close by. They now have an area for tents too. I highly recommend this place. I have stayed there at different times... More

We arrived late at night and the check in office was already closed. They have a big board by their front office that made it easy for us to locate our last name with site # and map. The campground is extremely dark but we drove slowly and had no problem finding the site. The place is beautiful and peaceful.... More

Great campground, sites were level, ours was # 55 - facing the river and was very spacious. It was very quiet as there were few campers here in late October. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Oh, and there were bears daily in the campground. 4 black bears loved coming here to eat the acorns several times per day. They... More

This was our first time renting an RV so we were rookies. I hope all RV parks are like this! We got a spot by the river so we only had neighbors to the sides of us. It was nice and quiet at night, except for the bullfrogs. During the day we caught the shuttle from the Three Rivers Visitors... More

Thank you for taking time to post a review. We are glad your first camping experience was with us and especially pleased you had a great time. The Sequoia shuttle is an excellent way to get up into the park to see the big trees. We hope you come to see us again soon. More

We liked the campground which is nestled along a riverbed so much that we stayed a day longer than planned. All the sites are beautiful and one of the best assets is a swimming hole with wonderful water and natural jumps. The showers are good. The campground is located in a very quiet valley close to the entrance of the... More

We are pleased that you took time from your holiday to post a review. The swimming hole is rather unique in that it is spring fed and even with drought conditions, it's a great place to swim and cool off. More

My hubby and I love Sequoia/Kings but we love to camp in our trailer with full hookups too.... we found this gem which we'll be returning to for sure. We had site #27 which we were really pleased with as it was a bit wider and very long site, keeping a bit more privacy from others. While we were not... More

My family stayed here for one night. The sites were pretty but the sites near the river were very close. The bathrooms were ok. Not the cleanest. The price wasn't as affordable as it could have been. Even though my kids didn't use the river for recreation it did seem like a lot of fun

Thank you for posting your review. We're sorry you didn't have an opportunity to stay longer to enjoy the campground more. Kids love to ride bikes and swim in the swimming hole. The majority of our campers don't want to have bright lights on in the camping area as it takes away from seeing the stars and enjoying the natural... More

Lovely traditional park, quite remove and not huge amount of facilities but lovely and quite and good sized pitches. Showers were good and clean but was not made aware you had to pay for them and time ran our very quickly leaving me in the shower with no more money and soap in my hair! but other than that it... We used this as on overnight stop having visited Sequioa NP. Arrived late in the evening but no problems with that. Camp host friendly and helpful. Quiet site even though almost fully booked out. Good size pitches for a commercial site, and ours was actually enormous - but our vehicle is very small! Would stay here again.

This was our first camping experience near the Sequoia's. This place has a great location close to the park that also has full hookups. The swimming hole was fun for the kids and there seemed to be more and more showing up everyday. The big rock in the back allowed for the kids to jump. And jump. And jump. I... More

Thank you so much for your review. We are pleased your family enjoyed the swimming hole and the river. Yes, not all of our sites are the same size and we try to match the camping site to the size of the RV, but in the summer, our peak season, that is often difficult. A staff comes through at 10:00...
