Been traveling about the world in a wheelchair for 30 years and did not have to ask for ANY changes or accommodations to meet my needs. Gabe Martinez who manages the Bell Tower is the pinnacle of hospitality, gave us a virtual tour of Santa Fe from roof top and helped out some other folks in wheelchairs when things had... More

Stayed once again in La Fonda in Santa Fe in June 2015. Never disappointed! Lovely hotel, good food and drinks, nice shopping. Conveniently located in center of town and walking distance from all restaurants, plaza, and shops. Don't miss the Bell Tower on 5th floor for happy hour and amazing views!!

La Fonda on the Plaza is one of the most charming boutique hotels I have stayed in ,the rooms are decorated with old world charm but up to date with all modern amenities . Comfortable beds , lovely linens and I had a wonderful view from my room overlooking the church The restaurants in the hotel were fabulous, I especially... More

We have stayed here before; a few times. We always book well in advance so that we can get a room right on the square and look out on it hopefully. This is not a standard American motel/hotel like a Hampden Inn or Marriott. This is an old hotel modernized to fit what was there; small rooms. Each room is... More

Our family has just returned from our stay at the La Fonda Hotel where our youngest daughter's wedding was held. Samie Doerfler, the wedding coordinator at the hotel is the consummate professional. She is amazing! Her attention to detail and recommendations for other vendors was spot on. The venue itself is incredibly beautiful. The food and service is top notch.... More

This is a beautiful hotel but I was gravely disappointed when on the second day of my five day stay I found that someone (not me) had eaten some of the chocolates I had purchased. I reported this to the front desk who proceeded to check the codes in my door to see who had been in my room. After... More

This place oozes old southwest character and since their major renovation a few years back it is a top notch place to stay. The architecture and artifacts are awesome. The restaurants and attached shops like the bakery are really convenient and delicious. The plaza is an awesome location too. It is an annual for us now.

My husband had business in Santa Fe and we stayed at La Fonda. It's quaint and has very many charms. The little historical and artistic details are very nice and make the hotel feel very warm and inviting. The room was nice with a modern western decor. The bathroom was very nice, but a tad small. The location is great.... More

I started a long trip in US coming from Europe with a stop in Santa Fe. My choice for 2 nights was La Fonda, and I can tell you that it was a great experience. Rooms were spacious, new furnished, very clean, huge bath, a very friendly atmosphere. Plus location. I didn't experience the noise others mentioned, but maybe I... More

We stayed here in January and had an over the top positive experience. I am sure we were spoiled that time because it was the off season. This visit has been very good but not over the top. The hotel is very crowded during this visit and feels quite impersonal. It is still a lovely hotel but I think I... More
