We stayed for 3 nights and were on the 2nd floor so we hardly had to use the elevator. The hotel is very charming with the historical prints in the halls. Even though we did not have a balcony, our room had big windows that open and the afternoon sun mixed with the rain gave the room a European feel.... More

I agree with those who stated that they thought this would be a higher end hotel than it was. We had a lovely room with a balcony and though small, it was comfortable. Parts of it were a little shabby and the armchairs definitely needed a thorough cleaning. No turndown service. Wish there had been a listing of tv channels... More

We stayed for one night and arrived early as we had only driven from Taos. The reception staff were helpful in allocating a room which was ready for us immediately. The room was large enough for 4 - 2 queen beds. We were overlooking the church next door which provided a nice view. The bathroom was good and well supplied... More

Our stay was brief, but we did have dinner that night & everyone that worked there was very nice. There was 1 busboy (man) that went way above & beyond to help tell us where to go eat for lunch, etc. He was even "off" & still made it a point to help us. All of his recommendations proved great!... I was under the impression that this is a high end hotel. I was disappointed. let me start with the [positives: The hotel is lovely, clean, and well located to the town plaza. Most things are within walking distance. The restaurant had a lovely breakfast (I did not try their dinner menu.) Now the downside: You get nickel and dimed:... More

I should have known from the disdainful tone in in the "Oh... You booked this through a third party..." That things were not going to be as wonderful as expected. The room was modest, with a view of the air conditioner on the adjacent building's rooftop. The floor we were placed on was the floor reserved for families with small... More

The location of the hotel is excellent - close to the plaza. The staff was helpful and friendly. Many of the reviews mentioned daily additional fees, dark rooms, small patios, and very limited counter space in the bathroom. All of these complaints were true but as I was aware of them (thanks to trip advisor reviewers), I was prepared. I... More

The Inn and Spa at Loretto is a beautiful hotel and resort. This was our first visit to Santa Fe and were there to spend the weekend at the International Folk Art Market in July. Very well maintained facility, clean and quiet rooms, excellent shops and restaurant. The location couldn't be more perfect - in the center of many great... More

There are many things that go into making a hotel great. There are the natural attributes such as mountain and ocean views. The proximity to museums and other attractions. Of course, it goes almost without saying that the rooms must be clean and comfortable. But I believe the distinguishing feature is how the hotel staff reacts when things don't go... More

We enjoyed our stay here. It was walking distance to a lot of the sites. It was a wonderful base to visit the area. Santa Fe around Christmas is a must. We will definitely go back. And we wish to visit the Taos area next time.
