My husband and I stayed at La Posada for a week in June. Indeed, the grounds are beautiful! Beautiful flowers, art, walking paths, fountains, etc. The pool and pool area was lovely and a nice temperature. We stayed in a suite and the room was nicely decorated. The work out facilities were sufficient and easy to access. I can't imagine... more

Their hands on approach & welcoming attitude were reflected across the entire staff there. Their personal manner was both very welcoming and professional and made us feel very much at ease throughout the challenging process of planning a wedding. We had a wonderful wedding & people loved spending time at La Posada, it really helped to make our event perfect. more

We booked this hotel over one of the "name your price" websites; we later read reviews of the property and were wondering if we'd made a bad decision. We called the hotel to confirm that we would be able to have 2 beds in our room, as we were traveling with our 2 kids. We arrived on a rainy day,... more

I stayed at this hotel over the Memorial Day weekend and had the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. The staff was incompetent and unfrinedly. We were awaken two nights in a row (even after our rooms were switched) to the sound of a loud wedding reception. If you are not a part of the wedding party... more

My husband and I stayed at La Posada for our anniversary. I made the reservation on their website for one of their packages the day before and according to the website they charged my credit card since it was so close to our visit. Fortunately I had printed out the confirmation because when we got there they had no record... more

My wife and I booked a room at La Posada for Memorial weekend. I'd read the mixed reviews about the rooms, so I paid in advance to have us upgraded to a room with a private patio thinking the hotel would understand I cared about where they put us. The patio rooms they show on the internet look romantic and... more

We just got back from our visit to Santa Fe and LOVED the La Posada. Our family was spread out in different rooms so we had a chance to see all the styles. My particular room was the basic (no patio or fireplace) but was very large and comfortable! The hotel staff was out of this world - constantly offering... more

Reading other reviewers comments following our trip to La Posada, I'm not sure they stayed in the same place! The location was perfect within a few easy blocks of both Canyon Road and The Plaza, the grounds were peaceful with waterfalls, beautiful art and well designed privacy, but it was the staff who blew us away! From my first call... more

I can't seem to form a concise opinion on this hotel. I went with a group of friends and some of my experiences may be clouded or brightened depending on what was going on at the time. so maybe I will just list things. Liked: Location was really great - you can stroll downtown or head over to Canyon road... more

We stayed at La Posada Hotel in Santa Fe from 31 December until 5 January as our son was holding his wedding reception there. We had a very enjoyable stay using all the facilities and attending two lectures - although it was way above our usual class of hotel - they gave us a reduced rate which helped and even... more
