This is a charming hotel, however it has room for improvement. We arrived at 2 pm exhausted and needing showers before attending a wedding. The check-in time was 4pm, and we were not allowed in before then. So we got to know the lobby pretty well. At least there were warm cookies. Our bed was very soft - in fact it was too soft. We finally slept better after unzipping and removing the mattress topper. The room looked newly decorated but they had forgotten to put a soap dish in the shower. The breakfasts were wonderful with waffles made to order. It felt like a nice restaurant. A nice lending library of books and CD's. We had to request a CD player although they are listed as standard in each room. We walked to the affiliated hotel to use the pool, and had the complimentary shuttle limo take us to a restaurant. There are quite a few restaurants within walking distance. more
