Biggest asset - near the historic Santa Fe Plaza, Palace of Governors and Georgia O'Keefe Museum. Attractive, clean and reasonably priced. If they don't tell you, it's an extra $8 for parking.

Clean, smelled good, adequate amenities, good service, friendly staff, comfortable bed, large rooms. It's not located in the middle of downtown but still accessible to downtown. The only thing I didn't like was paying for parking when they have tons of available parking. Also their wireless was slow.
We stayed there during Spring Break and it was a very nice, simple, and clean hotel. We were able to bring our dog as well. Good location next to a great pizza place and wine bar!
Location, location location....For first time tourist , you would not go wrong . Right in the center/walking distance to Santa Fe historical sites and great restaurants. Great value for your money.
Knowing that this was an older motel I wasn't expecting much and was pleasantly surprised at the freshness of the room. I got a terrific price on Orbitz to make the deal even nicer. I called the hotel direct to see if they would match the Orbitz price. The first thing I was told by the desk person was they...

Santa Fe has some of the best hotels in the USA, at some of the highest prices, but this isn't one of them. It's a basic, old fashioned, two story motel, with rooms arranged around a large parking lot. It probably hasn't changed much in decades, and that includes the decor and the furniture. There's a nice swimming pool and...

Hotel has a great French rest and great pizza parlor next door. Nice staff. Second stay here. First with buddies and second with family. Ski Santa Fe! Paid $69 and received an upgrade to two queens. Same price.
This hotel is similar to a Rodeway Inn or Motel 8. It offer the basic amenities (a bed, tv, bathroom), but nothing more. It is cheap, relative to the other hotels in the area. It's located about a 5 minute walk to the Square and next door to some good restaurants.
I have frequent business in Santa Fe. The weather was cold and looked bad for Monday travel so I hit the road Sunday night and had my wife make a reservation for me. They convinced her the "suite" was the best room they had. I arrived at 10pm and checked in. The receptionist was pleasant but the room was terrible....

Garrett's Desert Inn was a perfect fit for my recent stay in Santa Fe. I had seen a very negative review, but decided to book a room anyway. Let me assure you, that review could not have been more wrong. The hotel is in an excellent location, just a few blocks from the Plaza and other points of interest. Although...
