The Pros - THE LOCATION, and the Queen mini suite was very spacious. The front room was large with a sofa, coffee table, club chairs, and breakfast table and chairs, desk, TV, microwave and refrigerator. The bedroom was a comfortable size and the vanity and closet area was like another room outside the bathroom. The Cons - It could have... More

I chose this motel due to the location and some good reviews. Check-in was fine and the room looked good at first view. There was a computer and printer as well as coffee in reception. Wifi didn't work, I had one conversation with reception but the man was very abrupt and obviously not interested. The bed was very uncomfortable, the... More

We didn't want to pay a ton of money to stay at one of the hotels in town that were super-pricey, so we had planned on staying at a hotel about 5 miles away from the downtown area. Unfortunately, that 5-mile drive was PAINFUL! We did a last ditch search for something closer to downtown that wasn't $200-300/night and found... More

Check in and checkout was smoothly. The staff was friendly. The price is decent; parking is $8 per day. The hotel needs some upgrade. Room was small and dated, bathroom was small to. On the plus side, restaurant in the hotel, it's a great location within walking distance to the Plaza, shops and restaurants. Over all could be better for... More

We did our research and read the reviews & almost didn't stay here because of some of the negative comments. Since we don't have big bucks to stay at the newer luxury spots near the Plaza, it was either here or 5 miles down Cerrillos Rd in a busy commerical district that was not great and pretty inconvenient when you... This hotel is based very close to the center of the town and the square. It is a great location but the management has let it go to seed. The concrete walkways are cracked, the paint on the decorative iron rails is peeling and the mattresses are lumpy and will not give you a decent night's sleep. The same bedspreads... More

A friend told me to try to stay closer to town as they had seen some vandalism reported at hotels away from the square, so I chose this one. It is right off the central area of Santa Fe and is very convenient, but that is all. The front desk person was not very helpful and the rooms were awful.... More

We love the location of Garrett's , the rooms have not been updated but it is still comfortable and close to everything downtown. Good coffee in the lobby. for the price we feel that could at least have pastries and yogurt in the mornings. Parking was fine, but you have to pay 8bucks a day. Not sure if we will... More

Only thing going for this hotel is the location. Very small (80's type tv.) Plastic chairs outside your room gave the feeling of a trailer park. Carpet and bed linens very poor condition, lamps terrible. Overall the whole room and maybe the entire hotel needs to be renovated!

Excellent location. Just two blocks from the plaza. Well maintained rooms and facilities. If you want to visit museums, churches or anything to do with Santa Fe history, this is the place to stay. No breakfast is available, just coffee. The Santa Fe Bite next door serves breakfast on weekends only.
