This is the third time in the last three years we have stayed at the Sage. Here is what they do to keep booked up and bringing guests back year after year: Commitment to great service, nice and comfortable accommodations ($159 for a 2-room suite at Christmas; are you kidding me?), free shuttle to the Plaza but close to everything... Staff is great. Great value for location which is perfect. Inn is right next door to Whole Foods. There's a shuttle to and from plaza but it's an easy walk. We were given a quiet corner room in one of the newly remodeled buildings. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Room was clean and cozy and nice tub!

We are repeat visitors to Sage Inn. We have stopped at this pet friendly place several times over the last few years to take a break from our annual cross country road trip, visit friends in town and enjoy the attractions of Santa Fe. Most of the rooms are renovated and although the pet friendly rooms are older they still... More

The hotel was located at the best place for our visit to Santa Fe. I could get to all the galleries and museum that I had planned for the visit. The location was the best for the price and comfortable.

Our stay at the Santa Fe Sage Inn was a pleasant surprise. We were looking for somewhere affordable but a little nicer than a typical Motel 6. We arrived very late so were dead on our feet when we entered the room. When we walked inside we were surprised to see the decor was a tasteful "Santa Fe" rustic style... More

Santa Fe offers two choices for a stay. The hotels at the plaza are nice but expensive. New York Expensive. The standard mid priced hotels are 20 minutes from where you want to be in Santa Fe. The Sage is neither. This hotel is different. It's an old motel that's jazzed up. The rooms are eclectic and charming but a... More

The Santa Fe Sage Inn has made a lot of improvements. We stayed in a Queen Suite, having found a good discount through the website. The rooms had been refurbished and were very comfortable. The free breakfast still leaves something to be desired: minimal selection and low quality.

Pros: good location, satisfactory free breakfast, satisfactory hotel restaurant and bar, decent price for the rooms, free shuttle to downtown, helpful front desk staff Cons: LOUSY Wifi, too much furniture in the rooms, tired-looking room decor, in need of renovations, they charge $5/day for parking - really?

The staff are helpful, gracious, and knowledgeable. The new restaurant was lively and the food was good. The shuttle service to downtown was A+. Great rooms, centrally located. I hghly recommended this hotel.

The wifi is so bad that it's impossible to actually use it to do anything. If you're coming for business and need to do any work at the hotel, look elsewhere. And the TV picture quality is so bad that it's no distraction from the bad wifi. 4 PM check-in time is inconvenient. Free shuttle to downtown is nice, and... More
