Nothing but good things to say about this place. Nice people, fast check in, rooms not fancy, but big and clean. Close to plaza. Breakfast was more then we expected. Rates, very reasonable. Would stay there again.

The rooms are pretty average. The breakfast is a little bit better than the usual. My favorite part of the trip was the pool though. The pool was in a really nice room, and the pool is much bigger than the usual hotel pool. The hot tub is also really nice too. Also it is close to the plaza and... More

My husband called for a reservation, talked to a woman with thick accent, she got all our information including the credit card number which was mine, said they're having some kind of weather-related internet interruption that night so we need to call back because their system was down and could not enter all the data. Again, this was after she... More

Check-in was fast and easy. The front desk personnel was very friendly. They have done some renovating lately. Our room was huge and had new carpet and possibly paint. It had a small fridge and microwave. The rates were VERY reasonable. There was a good variety of foods for breakfast: biscuits and gravy, fresh fruits, waffles, boiled eggs. They used actual... As with the most motels in Santa Fe this motel is about 10 min. drive from downtown. It has a big indoor pool with deckchairs and extra towels in the room. A fitness room. Exelent breakfast. Friendly staff

What more can be said? We were greeted by the BEST check in help you could ask for. We stayed at Lamplighter for a week, the best value in town. I don't believe that the OVERLY priced hotels downtown have anything on the Lamplighter!!! This is our second time to stay with Lamplighter and plan on MANY return visits. Thank... More

If you need a nice clean place to stay without breaking your vacation budget, this is the place. It's an older motor inn that has been remodeled, and we personally prefer this type of lodging as the walls aren't paper thin like the hotels they build now. Our room had the beds against an interior wall so we didn't hear... More

This motel is a older motel, average from the outside, but a great place. Rooms are small but very well kept. Indoor pool a nice extra too. Owners go out of their way to accommodate you. Any restaurants or stores at your fingertips to include the outlet mall. Easy access, clean, comfy. I have paid more for less. We will... More

Should have called after hotels.com reservation and asked for downstairs king room. Very good value for Santa Fe hotel and room was nice and clean. Only problem was stairs and old knees for both wife and I.
