What a find!!! I was trying to book another Santa Fe Hotel for Indian Market and stumbled upon the Inn of the Governors. This might be the best place to stay in Santa Fe. The people are down to earth and friendly, the rooms are immaculately clean and quiet...we stayed in the traditional wing room #110 and had a private... More

We stayed in Santa Fe for several days one week and were going to change hotels to a resort the second week, but had such a nice experience at this Inn we decided to return here! It has a wonderful location near the plaza, restaurants, shops, and a five minute walk to Canyon Road. The staff is so helpful. The... More

Room #261 is sooo pretty and comfortable! The hotel is in an older building, but beautifully clean, updated and pleasant. You won't be disappointed. The staff have all been helpful, encouraging, and friendly--and our room is lovely (just like the pictures)!

We initially chose Inn of the Governors simply because it had free parking--we hate having to pay an extra fee to park our car. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a personable and knowledgeable outside attendant/bell hop. She showed us to our room, which was comfortable and nicely furnished in old-fashioned Santa Fe style. We enjoyed the $15 dollar drink... More

We based our decision on value, location and amenities...and it did not disappoint. We were within walking distance of the Plaza, wonderful restaurants and two churches we wanted to see, however not too close that it felt hectic and in the middle of the masses. Short drive to Canyon Road, grocery and state capital. Best of all the price included... More

We were worn out after a long - at times "wet" - day on our motorcycle. Worn out, but excited about our four day stay in Santa Fe to celebrate our 40th Anniversary. The management and staff at the Inn of the Governors made certain that our stay was relaxing and memorable, in all of the best ways. Surprisingly, our... More

We booked a stay at the Inn at Santa Fe for the International Craft Market and were woefully disappointed - enough so that we called the Inn of the Governors, made a reservation for their last room (at a great price) and transferred there the following day. When we arrived, we were greeted by a nice young man at the... More

This hotel is a great escape from the standard chain hotels that seem to dominate every market. If you want to visit a place that is unique and perfect for Santa Fe, this is the place to stay. The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. Most of the employees have been at this location for several years, which speaks volumes... More

Stayed here for 3 nights with my husband. Staff on the front desk are super friendly and always willing to assit if you have any questions about the area etc. The pool was out of action which was a bit disappointing but we were able to use the Hilton's pool just a few blocks down which was nice. My only... More

We bit the bullet this year and chose Inn Of The Governors over our old favorite, Garret's Desert Inn. Last year at Garret's our door lock wouldn't work on arrival and one of us had to be in the room at all times until checkout the following morning.....bummer! So...The Inn of the Governors was a pleasant surprise. Clean and stylish... More
