The patio room was small and dark. Great for sleeping-nice firm bed but needs better lighting during the day. The bathrooms are small, especially the tub and has little shelf space. The shower is not hand-held and needs more shelf space. The hotel leaves water in your room-a necessity in this high altitude city-but charges for each bottle. This is... more

As this was a last minute stay in Santa Fe we were very fortunate to get a room near the plaza. As it turned out this was a very fun place with comfortable beds and cute bathroom. The breakfast buffet was excellent as well. The rooms are small but it was fine for one night! The flowers and decor are... more

My mom and I stayed at the Inn of the Governors this month on a trip to Santa Fe. The inn was very clean; the rooms were cute and the beds were nice. The staff members were incredibly helpful and full of advice and answers to our questions. Great location--just a few steps away from the Plaza and museums. I... more

A gem of a spot, located well within walking distance to the Plaza and Canyon Road. We were treated royally by any and all of the concierges at the front desk, we were in a beautiful room, we had a wonderful buffet breakfast (included w/room rate) and we had a parking pass for FREE parking in the outdoor OR indoor... more

My husband and I recently stayed 1 night here on our way home from Yellowstone. Plus: The rooms are beautifully decorated in southwestern style. The linens and towels are of nice quality. The bathroom was nicely appointed with lovely tile, large Mexican tin mirror and other nice touches. The room was a standard size, but with plenty of space for suitcases... more

This hotel is in a great location for walking in Santa Fe. They also provide great free parking which is not ample in Santa Fe. The breakfast in the hotel is really incredible. You can have a full blown eggs and meat buffet or something lighter like fresh fruit and cereal. Very fresh and wonderful choices to choose from. Our... more

Inn of the Governors is a moderately-priced option for those who want to be near the Plaza and the action in Santa Fe, but are put off by the higher prices of some of the nicer hotels in the area. We had two rooms, one was a suite and the other a standard room. Both were fine, but the standard... more

My family and I are returning to The Inn of the Governors in August after a wonderful visit in January,2007. We absolutely love the place. The service and cleanliness were wonderful. We have been to many hotels and this is surely one of the, if not the best, hotels we have visited. We finished our day at the Del Charro... more

The Hotel was in a very good location. It's about 2 blocks from the Plaza which may be a good thing if you want to be away from the bustle, but yet be close enough so you can walk to it anytime--night or day. Staff were very friendly and efficient. The free breakfast is great, and there is a 4... more

My husband and I spent our anniversary weekend here in May 2008. From arrival to departure, our stay was enjoyable, the staff was courteous and outgoing, and the room was nicely appointed. The breakfast buffet was very good and the sherry happy hour was a nice touch. We would definitely stay here again. more
