Just recently vacationed in Santa Fe with my sister. I originally booked a king room for myself (I was planning to attend BeadFest) through a reservation site. I called the hotel days before our trip to change to a room with two queen beds. I see from some other travelers that there are double-queen rooms that are quite spacious and... More

Recently spent three nights at the Inn of the Governors in Sante Fe and it was a very pleasant surprise. The staff at the Inn are friendly, helpful and very courteous. The rooms, although small, were clean & comfortable and the plush, fluffy robes were a nice, spa-like touch. The breakfast was delicious - it was a stick-to-your-ribs meal, not... More

First of all, the Inn of the Governors has to have one of the better complimentary breakfast buffets I've had while staying at a hotel. Lots of variety and really great quality of food! Our group was in town for one night, and I'd argue that the provided breakfast is as good as any breakfast/brunch you'd find elsewhere. The attached... More

We've stayed all around Santa Fe over the years, but never at the Inn of the Governors. This trip, we were traveling with a mother and son that had never been to New Mexico, let alone Santa Fe, so of course we wanted something in or near downtown. Unfortunately, that often means double beds, parking fees, and/or resort fees. I... More

This hotel was recommended to us by my aunt. My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday. When we got there they upgraded us to a nicer room then upgraded us again because the room next to us was full of screaming kids! The buffet was good and the Del Charro was also good and fun!... We stay here 2-4 nights every year as the hotel offered great location + free parking (still), courteous people (where did they go?), good breakfast buffet, $15 coupon for onsite restaurant (because we booked thru Priceline, we were told NO coupon for you!). Thats fine as we went to the El Dorado Hotel Happy Hour where the quality of the... More

Very well kept property. Small but room was cozy & very neat. Location was convenient to get around town. Didn't care for the food in New Mexico generally except at the restaurant located at this hotel. Their food & drinks (especially Margarita! Mmm...) were so good & reasonably priced. Staff was friendly & helpful.

An older hotel with quaint rooms. We had a suite which was a bit bigger and had a real fireplace. This hotel is situated within walking distance of downtown. Breakfast was included and it was delicious and quite a nice variety. Although there is free parking, it was a challenge to find the inside court.

We stayed here for 2 nights in early March. I had purchased the room in an Expedia package, so the room was apparently their most 'standard" room. It was very clean comfortable and well-appointed, although not really modern or fancy in any way. The room came with breakfast, which was super - plenty of good coffee and a nice, small... More

I don't know when I've ever encountered such amazing customer service. From start to finish, the staff accommodated every request we made and we made several. We had paid for our stay in advance. Due to some very unfortunate and unexpected travel delays, we did not arrive when expected and had not cancelled in time for a refund. Instead of... More
