We stayed two nites for the first time...while on route to Calif. What a delightful place! Cozy warm and picturesque, close to historic sites, shops and other restaurants; helpful staff in both the hotel...and their onsite lounge / dining. Snowed for 36 hrs during stay, so we took advantage of our room's fireplace - thanking the staff for resupplying our... More

We've stayed here several times over the past 10 years and it never ceases to amaze us; what a great value! This last visit was during one of their anniversaries so our rate included a $15 daily credit for the restaurant, which was a great bonus. The rooms are always clean and cozy. Location couldn't be better-walking distance to the... More

We really enjoyed our week long stay here this past fall. It is a small Inn, clean and cozy, with a great little restaurant and bar. Margaritas were AWESOME!! Breakfast was included, and VERY good. We loved our little room with a fireplace.....very cozy. Convenient to the shopping, museums and restaurants of Santa Fe. Beds were very comfortable, and we... More

Our group had a great experience staying at Inn of the Governors. It was an amazing value to get a nice room, great service, food and beverages in a location so close to the plaza. You will be hard pressed to get so much for your money elsewhere in Santa Fe. While the hotel is older, we had no issues... More

I love fancy bathrooms and spa stuff, and Inn of the Governors is not that, but it is well worth the stay if you are looking for atmosphere, a fantastic location with convenient parking, along with a memorable Southwest decor. The afternoon sherry hour is fun and the cookies are great. Kids and adults can also opt for hot tea... More

The best thing about Inn of the Governors is the location - it is located near the square and we find we can walk almost everywhere we want to go. The hotel itself is charming. Yes - a bit dated in some spots - but overall the charm is there. The breakfast is bountiful - and the sherry/tea at 4pm... More

We had a room with 2 queen beds with an outside entry. The room was small, clean and had a rustic décor very authentic to the area. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not. We did experience some noise from the street during the night and the garbage truck early the next morning. I would suggest a room... More

The staff were fantastic. Very friendly and accomodating. We did get a very noisy room for our first night - traffic is surprisingly busy and very noisy till late. We asked to be moved in the am and the next room was great although families with 3 kids will find conditions cramped!

We returned to the Inn of the Governors for our umpteenth time and will continue to stay there when in Santa Fe. As always, staff is outstanding; superior king room with fireplace was spacious and comfortable. Mountain Sunrise breakfasts were, as always, excellent. We took advantage of the $15 per day credit at Del Charro for a fine lunch. We... More

Stayed at the Inn last March with my daughter and granddaughters. Nice room with Southwest decor. Two blocks off the square in Santa Fe. Perfect location to sample the area culture. Great restaurants, shops, galleries, and events close by. Since my stay, I have returned to twice just to eat and have the best margarita ever in their bar.
