This time was probably our fourth stay at Inn of the Governors, so it is past time to write a glowing review that they deserve. Clearly we enjoy staying here as repeat customers. The central location with free parking is a huge plus, but of course wouldn't be enough to keep bringing us back. We have stayed in each of... More

We loved the afternoon Sherry and tea time! The host was very informative and it made our trip. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve had in a hotel in some time. We would definitely be back!!

Although it is not luxurious, the Inn of the Governors is a comfortable stop just steps away from the center of town. The hotel is friendly, southwestern themed, a little dated. The staff aims to please. A nice tea with cookies of the region served every day, or sherry is offered to inn guests, both at no charge. The bar... More

This hotel has a great character. The reception staff are great and the lobby area is great where you can sit on the comfy sofa's and read, or play chess or one of the other games there. The rooms are really good, we had one with a log fire which is nice. The beds are comfortable, the room was warm,... More

We found that the Inn had adequate parking when we visited. The room was clean, the breakfast was more than adequate, you had a large selection to choose from. You were walking distance to galleries, shopping, places to eat. Charming Inn worth a try if you are in the area.

Beautifully appointed room with a kiva fireplace and lots of pleasant touches in the decor. Beds were warm and comfy. Clean and bright. The hotel's location is ideal - walking distance to the plaza but away from the bustle and noise. Loved the tea and sherry hour at 4pm. Breakfast: good selections but don't arrive too close to closing time,... More

There are two entrances to the hotel - if you're driving, you need the entrance on West Alameda, not the side gates. The parking lot was busy, but there seemed to be enough places. The hotel buildings are lovely, with fabulous Southwestern décor in the rooms and public areas. Our room was clean and comfortable. It looked like most rooms... More

We had reservations for 12/20thru1/3. First the good. Location, breakfast, wait staff. The rest--rooms substandard, dirty, drafty, in serious need of upgrade. The food in the pub was below average. The wait staff was very friendly but understaffed, as a result we did not take full advantage of the 15 dollar room credit. The main complaint was the parking. During our stay we attempted... More

First time stay at the Inn of the Governors, the location in downtown Santa Fe is near perfect. Hotel has free parking which is a premium for a downtown stay. Hotel is 3 1/2+ star rooms are nice and clean. Hotel offers free breakfast buffet which may be one of the best we have ever eaten, not your typical "free... More

Inn of the Governors is a family-friendly hotel with a wonderful breakfast buffet. Rooms are not luxurious, but they are consistently clean and decorated in a southwest theme. Parking is an issue in Santa Fe. Inn of the Governors is one of the few hotels in SF that provide guest parking close to the plaza. We stay here whenever we... More
