We stayed here for only one night, but it was the highlight of our 5 days trip to New Mexico this season. There were five of us in the family, so we had two rooms. All the details of decor were first rate. How wonderful it was to have the tile heated from the hot water pipes below. And because... More

This was our first visit to Santa Fe and the Four Kachinas is an outstanding place to stay. We arrived late at night, but were easily able to find our room and key. Walt and Wayne put on a delicious breakfast and are very knowledgeable about the region. They helped us find great places to eat and directed us to... More

A great little inn, close to everything. The rooms are beautifully decorated in themes from Native American to Spanish Colonial. Breakfast daily was delicious. Walt, one of the owners, is a font of knowledge, and it was a pleasure for me and my family to speak with him each morning. We would definitely stay here again, or at the sister... More

We stayed at Four Kachinas for a ladies getaway, and it was the perfect spot! The owner, Walt, was extremely hospitable and made us feel right at home. We were always excited to see what he was making for breakfast! The location was a short walk to the square and quick drive to many other local attractions. Our room was... More

We stayed at the Four Kachinas for three nights while visiting Santa Fe over the New Year holiday weekend. I can't say enough about how guest-oriented owner Walt is, down to every last detail. Our accommodations were superb and uber clean. There are very thoughtful details in decor and the native art is beautiful. We did not have any dietary... More

Stayed at Four Kachinas with my wife in December 2014 for 3 nights. Owner Walt is incredibly hospitable, cooks a great breakfast, and knows everything about Santa Fe and gave us great advice on local history, Native American culture, and where to visit and shop. Great location 10 minute walk from downtown and near several excellent restaurants. We found it... More

We stayed at Four Kachinas over the Christmas Holiday and perhaps that's what made it seem like home so quickly. Most of Santa Fe was a ghost town on Christmas morning, so we stayed in the room and just had a quiet time exchanging gifts. The room was elegantly decorated with vivid rugs on the walls and an array of... More

We arrived at Four Kachinas on Christmas Eve at 5:30, later than expected because of a flight delay. Walt checked us in quickly and we were able to meet our son in time for our dinner reservation and the Canyon Road Farolito Walk. So glad we didn't miss this Santa Fe event! We stayed in the Chimayo room on the... More

Santa Fe in December is absolutely welcoming with its luminaria bedecked buildings and the Four Kachinas Bed and Breakfast adds genuine warmth to the entire experience. The tastefully decorated rooms are more than comfortable and the amenities are top quality. The homemade breakfasts with perfectly ripe fresh fruit, fresh-squeezed orange juice, tasty hot dishes made with gourmet flair, a variety... More

We spent three nights at the Four Kachinas over thanksgiving weekend and enjoyed every minute either in our very nice (double queen bed) room or in the breakfast-living-room just across the patio. Coming back from our long days in the evening we would always make the detour there for a last herbal tea and a homemade cookie before retreating to... More
